ou know they won’t be in NL very long even if it is 22 episodes since 22 episodes = 22 Days in SB and in NL time that would be what 44 days according to the statement made my Wendy that she was gone for more than a night right

I don’t believe so because that would mean Emma’s only be in SB for 44 days and Adam said she’s been there for a little over a year. 1 episode does NOT equal 1 day.

RG, our threads always go off topic. 😆 You want to talk about disjointed conversations then join chat on Sundays and Wednesdays. We never stay on topic for more than a minute. I think we all have some form of ADHD on there. 😉 I miss chatting. When are we doing the rewatch again? 😛

As for timing, definitely it’s not just been 44 days. Henry has aged already to 11 last season and will probably be turning 12 this season coming up. They just don’t show us all the holidays or birthdays. It’s just like any show, time passes at a rate we’re not quite sure of.

I don’t know when the rewatch is. I know Daniel is super busy at present. I hope soon. And yes, I was trying to cast it in a more positive light but none of our threads ever stay on topic. It’s hysterical. We have an Ariel thread that is currently talking about the White Rabbit and Rumple, for crying out loud.

That’s a tricky one. Part of me thinks it was an emotional response. It felt like longer to her because it’s such a terrible place once the sun goes down. That’s what she says, that it *felt* like longer. That doesn’t mean it was longer. Time in NL is going to be explored a lot in S3, I’m sure. We’ve had this discussion in a few places, but time–as in the time it takes for the earth to rotate on its axis–seems to be the same. The sun rises and sets like normal. What’s different is people’s own biological time. Their internal clocks are frozen. We aren’t likely to get an answer on this until S3 begins.

David could have left a lot sooner than he did and he only did so after Rumple gave him a look that practically said “get lost”. Rumbelle were in the middle of an emotional goodbye and Charming was just stood there.

How do you figure this Rumble was with Lacy/Belle alone several times so I don’t think this is true.

Lacey was not really Belle so Rumple and Belle never really had any alone time. Charming and Snow even interrupted Lacey and Gold when they wanted his help to find Regina.

I think the point of Charming standing there, until Rumple did give him the “scram, boy!” look was because one other person needed to witness Rumple giving Belle the protection spell. Otherwise, we might wonder all summer if anyone else on the JR would know that SB was protected. This way Charming knows and thus, in a roundabout way, so does the rest of the crew.

I’m a Rumbeller who’s siding with Charming on this. Yes Rumbelle are always getting interrupted, but in this case, Charming only stopped to listen when he heard Rumple mention that SB was still in danger and needed to be cloaked. Of course he’s going to be concerned over that. He’s leaving friends behind in SB.

I see a lot of complaints about the inturrupted dates, but I think that was just their way to show us that they were together without taking time out from the central storyline.

Angie, if that’s the case, that would annoy the heck out of me..but I actually don’t think it is. I think they purposely wanted those dates interrupted as they wanted no kiss in the Outsider (which made NO sense) because the writers wanted to build up to the finale. I thought that was ludicrous – there’s no way Rumbelle would not kiss in the moment before his potentially life-altering line-crossing (same with the car).

The fact that there was a deleted scene from the car where Gold kissed Belle’s hand also infuriates me.

The Charmings are the ones who interrupt the most and usually in Gold’s shop where Rumple and Belle are trying to enjoy some privacy. Even when Rumple and Belle were trying to say goodbye to each other in the finale, Charming was hanging around.

I didn’t have so much of a problem with Charming in the finale, but good lord, the Charmings constantly interrupt – and Regina did a fair job of interrupting the burger scene. If the writers keep doing this upon Gold’s return in S3, that will really be unbelievably cruel of them and frankly piss poor writing. Either let them have a relationship where they can get something done without having to put a force field around them or break them up and forget it. Now I’m obviously being sarcastic, but these two seriously need to be with each other……for more than 5 seconds at a time.

I thought Gold’s look at Charming was rather touching because he gave it just after Belle asked when he’d be coming home…..to HER. I don’t know if Charming suspected that Gold didn’t expect to return, but Gold’s look was more like a plea to leave because now he was going to have to say an incredibly hearbreaking goodbye.

If you notice, Gold didn’t speak at all after his line about needing to honor Bae; he couldn’t. I think if he had, he would have broken down. Here was Belle, so strong, crying – because of him. I believe that he truly believed in Belle’s love in the Outsider. That is, he stopped wondering why she loved him and just accepted that he did, truly and deeply. When he said in the phone call scene that she “really, really loved” him, that was extraordinarily powerful because you could see how he was in pain at that moment and he actually squeezed his eyes shut to emphasize how much he knew she loved him. So, here is his strong, heroic Belle trying to be brave, but crying for him – because she’s going to miss him and, to be honest, even though I believe she meant that she would see him again, a part of her HAS to be afraid that she won’t. She’s only human – a part of her must be scared that he’s going to die. Anyway, the way Gold leaned into that kiss, the way he looked (even with his eyes closed, you could tell how much he longed for Belle and needed her), the way he only shook his head when she said that Bae would be proud of him……..he couldn’t talk. I thought that was so exquiste.
