I’m still coming up with reasons why I love this episode. Here’s another one. Anyone know the movie, Pan’s Labyrinth? It’s described as a fairytale for adults; it’s very dark, creepy; all the effects are so good, along with the story. One of the creatures from Pan’s Labyrinth reminded me of the seer (minus the eating children thing).

This is the Thin Man from Pan’s Labyrinth.

    Oh, that is interesting Gypsy.

But the seer wasn’t as creepy as the thin man. First time I saw him, he scared me so bad but I love Pan’s Labyrinth.

I never saw Pan’s Labrynth, but yeah, I agree the Thin Man is way creepier than the seer!

Yeah the Seer wasn’t creepy at all for me compared to the thin man. All I saw was a poor little girl and later a poor woman awfully disfigured, that all. The thin man on the other hand 😮

On a recap someone said that this was a plagiarism of pan’s Labyrinth. I don’t think so, the seer is inspired by thin man maybe or probably, but the likeness stop here.

This is the first connection I made. THe whole thing freaked me out just because of that movie. I love Pan’s Labyrinth but it gives me chills. I mean Pan’s Labyrinth is a fairytale of sorts. Maybe there was some inspiration there.
