Book title is The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, but the other writing doesn’t show up in the screencap.

Disney’s Fantasia is based on the symphonic poem The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Paul Dukas, which was inspired by the ballad The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Dunno that either of those names are on the cover, but the illustration on the wiki page for it looks like the pic on the cover of the book:

Maybe Blue Fairy actually did Grumpy a favour by stopping him and Nova from running off together. Being a fairy is important to Nova, if Dreamy had prevented that from happening then Nova would’ve begun to resent him. Blue Fairy saved them time.

I would guess it’s  “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and other tales – Goethe” on the cover. But I’m not sure with the third line. If I’m right I wonder what the other tales are supposed to be. Maybe other poems by Goethe like the Erlking and Prometheus.

“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

Sorcerer’s apprentice huh….probably just a nod to fantasia but I wonder if there is a hint in there.

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Good thinking, that fits IMO. First word on the second line probably ends with a “d” and the next word has a pair of tall letters that could be “th”. First letter on the bottom like has to be a “G” (or a “C”), and the last two letters look like “he”.

I agree they should have mentioned Belle. The point really is the emotional ties that bind these people together. There’s a point where a relationship isn’t just a fling, a thing, a passing experience in your life but one of the defining ones. Where you become each other’s family. Tragedy may pass and break that bond, death/divorce/break-ups, but in terms of understanding the show, there is a world of difference between what Rumpel had with Cora and what he has with Belle. Hook and Milah lived together. They made plans for their future together. It was not just a fling between them and it is not for Belle and Rumpel either. Yet they mentioned the affair of Cora and Rumpel and David’s fake marriage to Katherine ? As I said, Disney Jr. narrator.

…… you guys do realize that was Bailee Madison narrating, right? As in little Snow White?

It turns out that there are no easter eggs on the second-season discs. 🙁
