This is a decrease of .4 from the season premiere, but that was honestly to be expected. We didn’t fall hard, so that’s good. The numbers will also, likely, go up tomorrow and then in Live+3.

#OnceUponATime ratings down, but it’s still far ahead of the bear http://t.co/vQc069JJ5t

Right now, the Cancellation Bear isn’t anywhere near OUAT. Still early, but OUAT is definitely ahead right now.
Here’s TVByTheNumbers Ratings for 402: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2014/10/06/tv-ratings-sunday-the-simpsons-brooklyn-nine-nine-slide-madam-secretary-rises-slow-start-for-mulaney/311253/?utm_campaign=WP%20%3E%20Twitter&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter

Well, those numbers are certainly higher than anything we had in S3, so yes. We fell, but that was absolutely expected. I said this some 2 pages ago, it’s going to depend on how hard and how fast we fall. We also adjust up every episode after the next day.
Good? Yes. We’re sitting pretty. It honestly just depends on how much the newbies like what A and E are doing Frozen wise.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 6, 2014 at 3:29 pm #284542MatthewPaulModeratorConsidering how much all the other shows that night dropped compared to last week, Once retained itself fairly well and had the highest non sports demo of the night.
October 6, 2014 at 4:06 pm #284549WickedRegalParticipantBut after last night’s fiasco of an episode….for next week I think we’ll drop just a tiny tiny tiny tiny bit…but nothing to do too much damage. Either that or we’ll still be in the same 3.1 Ballpark.

Meanwhile, ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” was the No. 1 most-watched nonsports program in the key demo with a rating of 3.1. It averaged 8.6-million viewers.
ABC’s “Resurrection” averaged 6.2 million viewers. With a rating of 1.8 in the key demo, the show was down 28% from last week.
With a rating of 1.3 in the key demo, “Revenge” also saw a slight decrease of 13% from last week. It averaged 4.9 million viewers.
ABC was the third most-watched network of the night with roughly 5.7-million viewers

ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” cooled a bit from its hot start to the season but remained the night’s top entertainment series in demos.
ABC had another Sunday of year-over-year improvement, thanks in large part to “Once Upon a Time” (3.1/9 in 18-49, 8.6 million viewers overall), which was the night’s top entertainment series in 18-49 and 25-54 (3.3/8).
It was down 9% from its week-ago prelim score in 18-49 (3.4), which shot up to a 3.7 in the nationals, but this is the show’s second best rating since January 2013.
While “Once” was up 19% from its same night a year ago,
9 p.m. drama “Resurrection” (1.8/5 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) was down a tick from last year’s “Revenge.” “Resurrection” also saw an abnormally large 0.3 bump in the nationals last week, and its prelim score is down 18% from last week’s (2.2) for the show’s lowest to date.

Much like episode 401 this weeks episode, 402, was a polarizing episode. Some thought it was great fun and others thought it was ridiculous. And I’ve been reading basically the same around the internet sites/boards. So, I expect that it will once again drop, BUT…Elizabeth Mitchell’s appearance may be the thing that keeps it from dropping too much. My prediction for next week is 2.9-3.1.
