How old is Rumpelstiltskin?
While we don’t know his exact age, it’s important to note that Rumpelstiltskin doesn’t age.
robertcarlyle had a tweet session last night and someone asked him this same question, and I think he said something along the lines, of ‘decades.’
How much of the plot is created in advance?
By the middle of season 1 broad strokes of season 2 had already been painted.
Below is something I’ve always wandered about Ginny’s role on the show. Were her scenes in fairytale land filmed first before her hair was cut, or does she wear a wig because Snow’s hair is long and Mary Margaret’s hair is short.
Why is Mary Margaret’s hair shorter than Snow White’s?
Because Ginnifer Goodwin had a short, pixie haircut, they kept it. To distinguish her in the fairytale world she wears a long wig.

What about Fairy Dust?
Fairy Dust can be good or bad. Snow White had it to use as a weapon against the evil queen.
That response makes a lot of sense. It depends on who uses the fairy dust. If Regina used, it would be evil; if someone with good intentions used it, the fairy dust would be good. It depends on the user.
