Okay, ignoring all “did Regina kill Marian in the original timeline?” stuff, even if this isn’t an issue, can Robin ever really be with Regina? At least in the next season?
I have a feeling that Marian’s destiny is an early death. I won’t be shocked at her dying early this next season. But even if that happens, would you respect Robin if after the funeral he’s looking at Regina and saying “how about a drink?” I know that’s exaggerating and would never happen, but he can’t go from funeral to courting. There is a reason people have grieving periods. It’s needed. I’m not saying there is a set time period. But it can’t be a few weeks, imo.
So another possibility is that Robin is conflicted between Marian and Regina. He has to make a decision between the two. A rehash of Cursed David and his situation. (Yes, I know Snow was his true love, but he had feelings, even if they were cursed ones, for Katherine). Does he leave his wife who he he was separated from because of “death” and not marital discord, or does he stay with her and work out the issues?
Piggybacking on that, the last possibility is him having an affair with Regina and stringing both women along. Once again, the Cursed David situation. Knowing that Robin is known for his honor, and he does have his real memories and is not a cursed personality, I can’t see this happening.
So Robin is between a rock and a hard place no matter where he turns. Nothing he can do will be right with the audience.

This is why I think Marian has to have been evil all along. (Not necessarily evil evil, but working in secret against Robin’s band.) For Robin, moving on from a betrayal would be quicker than moving on from a death.

They’ve shown Robin and David to have similar secret drinking habits, so maybe their ways of coping with stressful situations in general are alike.

And THE QUEEN is Second to NO ONE! It’s either her or nothing at all….after he chooses Regina…then Marian can politely get thrown off a bridge, or shot from a cannon to Timbuktu! 🙂
Nothing personal Marian dear, it’s just no one crosses MY Ship!

Daaamn… No one should mess with you. 🙂
Lol… Poor Marian, shooting her out of a canon and all, but I get you. Love my baby Regina and this is so hurtful. These freakin’ months are going to kill me.

We all assumed it was Robin when we saw his tattoo but what if someone else has that same tattoo? Maybe Robin was just a “practice run” for Regina.

With this show, I wouldn’t rule that out at all. 😈

One would think. But have you met Emma Swan? If she doesn’t require a believable post-funeral grieving period, neither would Robin. This show doesn’t have time for that.

In my opinion Emma didn’t really have a grieving period because she no longer loved Neal romantically. She would always love Neal because he was Henry’s dad but she was already falling for Hook by the end of the first half of this season. That is why she was able to move on so quickly, which it really bugs me because if she wouldn’t have been so indecisive maybe Neal wouldn’t have been so desperate to get back to them. He probably would have still tried to get back to Henry but maybe he would have stayed in character and not have made such a rash decision and would of taken his time. All pure ifs but what’s done is done. On to Robin and Marian, seeing it from this point I really wouldn’t know because we haven’t seen what type of relationship they actually have, I guess it would depend if Robin is still very much in love with Marian on whether he would be able to move on faster or not.

He still had a huge part in Emma realizing that she had found her home, when she was coming back through the time portal I mean he’ll always have a place in her heart. Right before she went with Hook outside Granny’s they had just named her brother after Neal, but she’s fallen for Hook. She wanted to be with him, having a place in her heart doesn’t mean she wasn’t ready to find Tallahassee with someone else because she finally was ready. And really Neal wanted that for her
