Not the best, for sure, but I thought this was a fantastic episode. In my opnion, it was a more of an informative and character driven episode altogether. For once, it actually answered more questions than given.
My least favorite moment was the mysterious disapearence of Belle.

My only issues were Charming seeming not to care about Henry until the very end. And Regina’s wedding dress. It was terrible. Who would wear something that would make your hips look that wide? Not me!

I really enjoyed this EQ-centric episode. It really made me wonder if Regina can redeem herself, there was a few really deep moments I particularly liked how Regina let Henry go back with Charming and how the dwarves took it upon themselves to test out the boundary and how they banded together at the end to find a way to bring back Sneezy’s memories.

I don’t think it hit Charming until the very end to actually do something. Most likely he thought there was nothing he could possibly do since she obviously got her powers back. After he gave his speech, he didn’t care and that’s when he went after him. I mean, Henry got taken half way through the episode so it really wasn’t that long until Charming got him back.

I also liked how Charming and Henry’s relationship is growing. Charming blasting into Regina’s house with a sword was hilarious! And I though it was really cute at the end when they both were drinking coke 🙂 I really wish we saw more of Emma and Snow. But I am assuming we will see a lot more of them in the next episode. I am also looking forward to seeing Pinocchio and Geppetto’s reunion. Along with the return of the mystery New Yorker (which I am hoping is Bae/Henry’s father). I wanted to see Belle this episode too. I also think it would be cool if Henry got magic somehow and used it for good!

It was something that he needed to realize and that conversation with Red is when he really opened his eyes. What was he gonna bring his family back to if he didn’t take care of the town? Even if his wife and daughter were missing he still had a grandson to take care of. He needed to realize all of his responsibilities.

I think some people are marginalized and taken for granted ( cops / firemen / medical people etc) by employers, government and people in general. Dwarfs are important to the world they live in … first as dust miners, later as guards to PC / Snow…. now in SB they plan to restore fairy dust…. Way to go Dwarfs.

oh darn, she’s outside, be cool!
– wanna talk about your feelings?
October 8, 2012 at 4:01 am #156006surayyaParticipantI too LOVED this ep more than the promo (Which I enjoyed as well). I was shocked I didnt miss (too much) Emma & Snow! I was so intrigued with all of Regina’s story lines!
I Loved all of Regina’s story, esp her doing right & for once proving she does actually truly love Henry & want redemption (of some kind).I loved Charming’s & Rumple’s chat & all of Charming’s stuff with Henry particularly the sword & coke scenes- so cute! I felt really sorry for him when he had to give up ‘actively’ looking for his wife & daughter in order to really realise & take up his responsibilities (poor man’s on a steep learning curve there!)
Enjoyed Ruby’s role of right hand man/women/wolf 😉 & Granny’s comment in the hall about needing her bow 😆
I loved Rumple realising he had sunk himself (for a change!)- I did feel maybe Rumple had lost a little of his ‘Stiltskin’ when he 1st introduced himself to Regina, but he was almost back to super Imp by the end 😉
Enjoyed the dwarves doing their royal guard duties & then going to mine to get Sneezy his memories back 🙂
When we finally saw Emma & Snow it was bitter sweet for me as I knew we were down to the last 2mins & we’d probably only see what was in the promo (however the previous storyline’s made up for most of it)- but it was awesome to see Snow be Snow- man, is going to have a heck of a headache when she comes around 😉
I did think it was strange the way she & Emma moved behind the horses while tied up tho- I was like, it’s a horse why are you pulling back on the rope?!? 😆Although we kind of guessed that Cora would be in post curse FTL, I was not happy she was in the cell aka pit (if I ever get chucked in a ‘pit’ – I want it to be one of those ones please 😆 ), I cant see Emma & Snow being able to do much with Cora trying to manipulate them…. oh I just remembered, she probably wont recognise Snow, but snow will her! That could work then- I’d hate for Cora to just end up playing Snow & Emma, when Snow know’s she killed Daniel & brought Regina down on her & everyone else.
I do hope Cora ends up being the one they go up against for their ‘Final Battle’- that lady is plain corrupt 🙁October 8, 2012 at 4:12 am #156009Killian JonesParticipantThere was a line in David’s speech at the end that makes me think that David could still be the Prince’s real name when he says “Storybrooke David” why say it like that?
