So at the end of the episode, Peter Pan pulled out a dagger. He even held it above his head in a very “dark one” fashion. The camera seems to avoid the blade, but the quick glances we get show that the blade is very curvy… kinda like another dagger we know.
Any chance someone can post a screen shot? I have a feeling we might be seeing more of this dagger. Maybe it grants Pan a certain authority in Neverland. Are Pan and Rumple affected by similar curses? Can’t wait for more episodes.

Unfortunately, he moves it too fast to be able to get a clear shot of it.

September 30, 2013 at 10:23 am #213087PanTheManParticipantWhat if the dark one curse stems from Neverland, and Pan arranged for Rumple to become the new dark one after Zozo. Also, the Blue Fairy said in The Return (season 1) that Rumple’s magic “doesn’t belong in our realm [Enchanted Forest].”
So maybe it came from Neverland. Pan needed Rumple to become the dark one.

So it does look like the Kris blade that Rumple has and I wouldn’t be surprised if PP created the Dark One curse. The similarity between the agelessness of SB and Nl also seems like there’s a parallel there, so perhaps even if not the source of the Dark One he may tie into the curse itself.
Another thing we’ve tossed around is if there are more than one of that type of dagger for different lands and sort of LOTR style, the daggers give great power to one person in each land, but ultimately are controlled by the ONE dagger that some end-of-series- big bad has.

Or outright said better yet. So anyway, I think Pan maybe the original owner of the Dark One’s dagger/curse. I mean he has friggin shadow powers, that just screams Dark One. Perhaps the dagger he has is the original holder of the curse and it somehow got transferred into another dagger and taken into the EF…. Or is my theory just on crack…
