If Maleficent’s encounter with Merlin is anything like Greek mythology and the most philandering Greek God ever, Zeus, it doesn’t surprise me that Mal never knew who Lily’s father was.

Zeus loved humanity so much that he had “tacos” with pretty much every human female there was and the result of that, he ended up with more children than he could handle.

It’s also possible that since dragons are reptiles, their breeding would be reptilian. Maybe something similar to crocodiles?

I am wanting to stick with Merlin as Lilly’s father because he turns into a dragon in Disney animated cannon during the wizard’s dual in Sword in the Stone and he is the only male we have seen that does so.

Although with the ways twists work around here Mal could have hooked up with Mushu for all we know 😀

Well. That’s all the info I need. Although that begs the question why Merlin is going around having dragon sex >_> I SWEAR THIS SHOW JUST GETS WEIRDER AND WEIRDER!!!! LOL!!!!!

I thought about that, but I thought it was Madam Mim who turned into a dragon. Isn’t one of Merlin’s rules, “no dragons” and he ends up turning himself into smallpox to defeat Mim-As-Dragon?

I mean I think you’re right that it’s Merlin who is the father (because in storytelling having Lily say I don’t know who my father is and then having another character talk about a mysterious male figure who apparently is super power and super mysterious means that they are one and the same–like learning that Rumple had a son and learning that Henry’s father is out there somewhere)

I was thinking how in Arthurian legend Arthur is conceived as a result of Merlin transformed his father Uther into Igraine’s husband whom Uther had killed in battle. Morgan was the only one who recognized the rouse & it was part of her hatred toward Arthur. Mordred was Arthur & Morgan’s son & would also be interesting. I could see Morgan transforming her son to create a spawn similar to Cora. I’ve seen some parrells with Zelena & her vanity charm & pregnancy.

I’m a bit excited especially since my daughter is Guinevere. I’d love to see some Camelot.

So, last night RG and I conferred about dragons and their procreative habits and thanks to her finding a video on YouTube we have a clue on how dragons mate 😀 . It’s evidently done mid-air (I knew it!) according to Animal Planet. 😆
