They do look alike. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rumple as a young boy, and then later on, as long as it flowed okay unlike some of the earlier episodes this season where the different story lines didn’t really work together, and it wasn’t too much. However, since this is a K&H episode, I would definitely predict that this episode will be jam packed, but unfortunately probably have some holes in it too like “Land of Magic” and “Queen of Hearts”.

So I think you could be onto something since Brighid Fleming and Shannon Lucio look alike, and could possibly be the same seer, maybe Rumple meets her when they’re both younger, and then later on when they’re both older.

LilRed, that would definitely explain why they did cast two actresses to play a seer, one little girl and a teenage girl/woman. Because maybe Rumple met her as a little boy and then later during the Ogre Wars. 😮

Do we know how old Rumple was when he was in the Ogre’s War? Or how long the Ogres War even lasted? Because in “The Crocodile” Milah made it seem like the war was more recent because she wanted to become an “honored widowed” meaning she and Rumple were already married.

When I first saw the pic of this kid, I initially thought he looks Henry-ish before I thought he looked youngRumple-ish. I’m liking this idea that they met twice, at different ages. Rumple’s age during the wars would be a determining factor. They’d have to make him a fair bit younger to match up with the age of the Seer, if they’re gonna make it that they first met when they were children of a similar age. There’s a 20 year age gap between Robert and Shannon.

hmmm well I thought maybe he fought in one ogre war as a child and then another as an adult but then I think I remember epenson doing an interview saying that the one Rumple was in was the first from one of the episodes that featured his past. Technically tho that would be true if he was in both…I want to see a little rumple too.

OMG!!! I leave for a week and the spoilers just flood in! How did I miss this? 😮

I can’t wait to see sweet, peasant Rumpel. I always love seeing our villains before they became evil. I loved seeing Regina in The Stable Boy and I loved Rumpel in Desperate Souls. 🙂

From Spencer Dever’s twitter, he said he will be playing a 9-year-old boy and will be making several appearances. It would be cool if he was a young Rumple, but he really looks like a younger Henry.
