1) PP wanted Tamara and Greg to destroy SB by triggering the failsafe.
Which means the failsafe is potentially something of PP’s own design. Which begs the question of how exactly Regina got it. And if she had it in her pocket when she got on the JR, could it potentially come into play again if they can recharge it somehow once it’s back in the land it originated from? If PP created it, can it be used to destroy him? (That would be similar to how Cora was the one who gave Snow the candle, and in the end, it came back to bite her.)

I would like to see an episode in which Regina traveled to NL to make a deal with a certain mermaid. Maybe PP sought her out with the purpose of one day bringing about the destruction if SB. Also, I agree with the idea that PP probably is behind Regina adopting Henry.
