Some event happened such that Pan became immortal but he could still leave NL, making me think think that he never drunk of the fountain of youth. Otherwise, he would’ve been unable to leave NL for the EF.
What I’m thinking is that he can no longer leave, which is why the Shadow goes to collect boys now, instead of Pan going himself and luring them away like he did that one time that we’ve seen. If he drank the water, (at some point after the Pied Piper flashback), that could explain why the Shadow has to go get the boys now. Drinking the water isn’t what made Pan immortal, it just confined him to NL.

A few questions that will probably be answered in the future but we should keep in mind:
1) How did Pan get to NL?
2) Who taught him about NL? Someone had to explain about dreamshade and the waters.
3) If he did drink the waters, there had to be a legit reason. He was already very much PP when we saw him in the EF in 304. Injury seems to be the best guess. Did one of his Lost Boys (Felix maybe???) try to hurt him in an escape attempt and PP was forced to drink the waters?
