So, new question…did PP arrive in NL at age 17? Or was he younger and as the magic in NL has been wearing off, he’s started to age?

I like that idea, that the magic is weakening and he’s aging.  It’s really the thing he fears most in the world–growing up.

okay, what if stop believing in Neverland caused time to move forward, thus allowing PP to start aging?  Cursed Storybrooke worked much the same way.

I had a little pet theory recently that PP needed Henry because he wanted to grow up and Henry could make that happen somehow. The more little tidbits we’ve got though, and the more I’ve thought about it, the less convinced I’ve become of that. All this talk about NL being fueled by belief, and the ep title Heart of the Truest Believer and how is may well refer to Henry, sounds like NL needs a boost of that belief stuff to keep things stable as they are, so if PP is aging, he wants to stop it.

Did the Curse rip magic from NL? And only Henry can restore it? He is the only one who figured out the Curse (apart from Regina) and believed in it. And maybe that’s what PP saw in his vision of the future: someday all magic would disappear from NL and time would slowly speed up so that everyone aged. Only Henry’s heart could stop it.

This is gonna make my head hurt…

I currently believe that PP wanted the Curse to be cast. At the very least, I think he must have known about it and that it was inevitable. If he’s been searching for Henry since the time Bae was a child, and who knows for how long before that, then the Curse has been destined to happen for a loooonnng time, because Henry wouldn’t exist if not for the Curse happening, so basically everything and everyone along the way has been collateral damage because Henry is the endgame. That means that Henry was needed even before the Curse happened, so can the Curse be the reason for NL losing magic which they now need Henry to restore? I dunno. I don’t even know if this paragraph makes any sort of sense. *headdesk*

Here’s something crackpot that just popped into my head: Maybe Blue stole a bunch of magic from NL way back in the day and used it to establish FTL? So the moment Blue screwed NL over, Henry, and therefore the Curse, became an eventual necessity?

I agree. I think we are going to learn that PP has been the ultimate Puppet Master.

I don’t know, I think it’s a little early in the game, especially if they want OUAT to go beyond season 3, to have everything that has happened so far be because Peter Pan planned it. That sort of reveal seems like a final season kind of thing.
