Okay, so I couldn’t help but note that Jiminey Cricket had a little badge on his chest this time when we saw him in fairy-tale world. This is the smae one he obtains at the end of Pinnochio when he becomes a real boy and Jiminey becomes an Official Conscience. So does that mean the events of Pinnochio have already occured, or did maybe in this version he earned it for his services for Gepetto?
At least we know now why he was invited to the Council in the pilot- he did help James save Snow White from becoming evil. Jut like we know why Red was there too.

I am not sure if it was a badge or not that Jiminy had. I thought it might be like a portable megaphone. You know how in Ep 1 when he was talking at the war counsel Jiminy was speaking into a megaphone. Then in Ep 4 where we learn about Jiminy’s episode when he becomes a cricket he is chirping to the Blue Fairy and their are subtitles. So i think we are supposed to believe that if Jiminy speaks through a megaphone or something like that his chirps are translated into English. So i think the thing that Jiminy was wearing was some sort of portable megaphone. I would need to get a closer look, but that was my thought.
Interesting megaphone theory! I had thought they made Jiminy speak in “Heart of Darkness” just for the sake of flow and simplicity.
Just re-watched the episode and it’s definitely not a medal. It does look like an old megaphone. I wonder though what happened to it in the Pilot. The smaller version seems more stylish. I wish I could make good screens, but they’re always fuzzy.

I totally thought that at first disneylover. I just kept thinking about how they could understand his speech since he was chirping in Ep 5. No worries. Good thoughts.
