What if Gold woke August up and sent him on a mission or something. August knows an awful lot about Gold. More than anyone else right now in Storybrooke, save the Blue Fairy. Even more than Belle right now. He knows about the dagger and Baelfire. What if he went to August, woke him up from his puppet state, and knowing he’s one of the few who can actually cross the border, sent him on a mission. I can see him threatening him into it.
I’m really leaning now toward August sending the message to MysteryMan of NY. (Can I just call him Bae now?)
Each show opens up more questions than it answers.

I don’t see Rumple making that deal. Bae means everything to him and I assume that would extend to his children. And I don’t think Regina would want Rumple’s grandkid specifically. It would practically invite him to meddle far too much in her life and i can’t see her wanting that.

Those 2 were in cahoots last season- esp given his ‘secret’ conversation with her in E19 (Which I’ve posted in 2 other threads). So I’m sure we will see him on a quest of his own- helping to get fairy dust

Yep, that’s my guess as to where he’s gone. Where else would he go in a situation like this, but to the person who made him flesh and blood the last time he was a wooden puppet. Not convinced that Blue will automatically agree to do it though. I can see him having to earn his humanity back.
Was heart wrenching when Geppetto walked into August’s room at the end and picked up the hat. I hope they’re reunited soon!
As for whether or not August is still able to leave SB or not…I’m gonna go with not…coz even if technically he could, he wouldn’t go unnoticed for long out in the real world in his current state.
Gold has magic back, he could zap August into a real man. We really don’t know if there is a wooden man walking around or August.
I wonder if Archie would be scared if he saw Pinocchio and think, “Oh, darnnit, I’m going to be that cricket, again.” 😀 Although, Archie really did love being a cricket, I hope all Storybrooke residents remain human.

What purpose would Rumple have for making August real again though? It’s not like August is his fave person in SB, given the whole, “Papa, I’m so glad I found you,” deception. So I can’t see Rumple doing August any favours unless absolutely necessary, and I dunno that he’d have a use for him right now.

She probably won’t be able to do much to help him (or sneezy) until the dwarves are able to wrestle up some fairy dust, and for some reason i think that when they do find some, it’s not going to be a whole lot.

True, but a lot of people have pointed out that there is a good chance August and Bae are working together (How else would Auguest have known enough to play Rumple so well?). If that’s true, then maybe August has a barging chip. Bae’s location perhaps?

I’m still undecided as to whether or not August knows Bae. I think all the info he got to play Rumple, he got from Blue Fairy. He did tell Rumple that a fairy told him, after all, and we know he’d been having curious, whispered conversations with Mother Superior just prior to that. It could be cool if August and Bae somehow knew each other, but I’m just not convinced of that at this point in time.
None of us are convinced, but that conversation with the Mother Superior could be all about him and Gepetto.
It’s just suspect that at this moment there are only three people who can leave town, at least before the curse was broken: Henry, Emma and August. We’ve got one additional wild card out there who is a fairytale character and walking around outside of Storybrooke…Baelfire. We know the connection between the other three, but August knew something about Bae. I just can’t see the Blue Fairy being the sole source of that information. I know there is no evidence, but I just can’t believe August didn’t know Bae. Same as the feeling that Bae is Henry’s dad. Maybe these fairytale characters were attracted, like a magnetic field, to each other and that’s how they found each other in the massive world we have.
I think Gold is going to realize pretty soon, if he hasn’t already, that there is a use for August. He knew that August could cross the line. He knows that Emma can cross it. He’s going to end up using both of them in some way.

If Bae is Henry’s dad, then Rumple CAN”T have known. Think about it, he is the one who got Henry for Regina. Do you honestly think he would have handed his grandson over to the EVIL QUEEN if he knew? He knows better than anyone what Regina is capable of…
And a lot of people seem to think Rumple can see the future. I’m not sure if he can or if he is just so good at manipulating people that it just seems that way, but if he can I want to see some limits on what he can and can’t see (we are beginning to get that–He didn’t know about what would happen when people crossed the boarder). Him not knowing about Henry would be perfect. and it could possibly add a lot of tension between him and Bae (not that they need anymore–but drama makes the fandoms go round).
Yes, however he didn’t know who he was until episode 01 when he heard Emma’s name. So at that point in time he wouldn’t know that the boy he got for Regina was Henry, aka Emma and Bae’s son:D But I know that probably wont happen, just throwing out a cool theory.
