It might be cool to maybe do some Character Studies, maybe on some of the most popular as all of them might be a lot of time.

I think a in depth look at a singular character, what motivates them, hurts them, why they do certain things; might actually give insight into the story as a whole.

Or maybe that’s me being overly nerdy 🙂

I’m going to rewatch the series, what I have taped. I think I’m missing just a few episodes. Sadly, the pilot is one of them. I’m hoping they rerun it in summertime. I might try the suggestion of watching in FTL chronological order. That sounds like fun. I might also brush up rereading my Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault tales.

The only other fandom I’ve been invested in was Harry Potter, which this show is giving me the same feelings. At least with this show we have a chance of getting new stuff within a few months. I remember the publishing break between Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix of over three years that seemed like an eternity. I thought I was going to go insane. And even after that it was two years between each book. Oooohh!! J.K. Rowling is publishing again in August…another thing to tide me over until the hiatus is done.

The podcasts plans for the summer sounds awesome. I look forward to it.

I know for sure that I’ll be having my own personal rewatch over the summer before S2 starts.

I like the idea that a few have suggested about doing some character studies on the podcast. Like deep analytical thinking about those characters. That sounds cool!

And thank God, you have plans for the summer! I was afraid the forum would be deserted. I don’t know how I’m gonna get through those months, oh my. So obsessed with this show, it’s not even funny.
And about taking time to discuss theories……. yes. YES. The writers of OUAT are aware of the whole Swan Queen “nation” (Emma/Regina shippers – like me) and said that they might have gay characters on the show in the future but it doesn’t necessarily have to be Emma/Regina. Necessarily. Could be.
Wah, who am I kidding… but whatever.

Those are great ideas! I’m already rewatching the episodes.

As to the CHARACTER STUDIES…. we should also do ancillary charters… those that do not rate an entire episode but the minor characters that add flavor to OUAT.

I think we should all rewatch the episodes. We analyze each episode with what we know and what else we notice when we rewatch them. An episode study to go along with the character studies.
