PLEASE don’t put SPOILERS in general conversation!!!!!

I have made this plea before. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put spoilers under a cut. A spoiler is anything that has not been aired in an episode or in the televised preview. This includes photos of upcoming episodes that have been posted, descriptions of upcoming episodes (whether from TV Guide, IMDb, etc.), tweets, interviews with actors, writers or producers. ANYTHING!!!!

I already know way more about the next episode than I want to, and that is just from reading this forum. I enjoy these forums and would love to stay in the conversation but I am getting really frustrated with accidentally getting spoiled for upcoming episodes. There are specific threads for spoilers, there are discussion threads for every named episode in the season, and there are ways to black out spoilery comments if you absolutely must include them in general discussion.

PLEASE guys. Help enable your spoiler-phobic brothers and sisters to stay in the conversation!!!

I second this request. Some of us would rather be surprised as each plot twist unfolds during the episode. Thank you for writing this, weedith, and thank you to everyone else in advance for hiding all spoilers. 🙂

I always try to make sure that nothing specifically spoilery seeps into my general forum posts. Apologies if I ever have let something through.

Now that I think of it, I may have commented on an interview with Kitsis/Horowitz where they mentioned characters they want to use in the future, and that was probably in one of the general forums, but I didn’t really consider that spoilery, coz it was just speculation on their part, not official confirmation, and they were characters that everyone assumes will be on the show at some point anyway. If that stuff IS deemed spoilery by the forum powers that be though, I’ll be sure to avoid mentioning it in the future.

Apologies weedith…sometimes I just get excited and get to writing…I will black out things in the future. And thank you for qualifying what is considered a spoiler. I tend to operate on “if it is out there and I know others do to”. I also never really saw those things as spoilers so thanks for the request and I will do my best to honor it.
