Yahoo TV has a list of TV’s worst moms, with Regina being #4 (the poll writer overlooked Cora). So for today, let’s take the opposite tack. Please notice I’ve differentiated between counterparts since they are noticeably different from each other.

I voted for Mary Margaret, but my second choice would be Emma.

I was going to pick Snow, but then switched to Mary Margeret. Yes, they’re the same person, but MM’s had 28 years as being a teacher in Storybrooke, even if she can’t remember them. As a teacher myself, all that experience has to be able to creep in somewhere when dealing with kids.

I chose Snow. I also was tempted to pick MM, but thought that Snow would be an even greater mum. MM’s still a bit too careful. She’d be a great mum, but I think Snow’d be more balanced out. Emma still needs a bit of growing up … If she had a new-born now, then yes, but it’s a little bit too early for a 10 year old boy.

I think you should add Regina as in before she was the Evil Queen. She’d be a great mum. Very loving and as I suspect not controlling at all, lol (nothing against a bit of controlling, but I mean the over controlling of Cora).

I picked Snow, but upon reflection I should probably change that to Emma. Emma made the supreme sacrifice by placing her child for adoption because she knew she could not provide her son with the home that he needed. She couldn’t have known he would end up with an evil queen.
