Now that Belle is out of the mental ward, she needs a home, a place to rest and regroup and acclimate. Her choice could have a major impact on the kind of person she becomes in this new world. Where should she take residence, and why?

Well, my obvious first choice would be with Gold. That would be great, but something in me picked Emma and MM. It seems like the apartment for lost souls who need a home. However, now that MM remembers she has a husband I think he’ll be moving in or she’ll be moving out, or something. And I can’t see Henry wanting to live with Regina, no matter that the law says that she’s his legal guardian.

Looks like we might have a game of musical chairs of homes. Everyone might be up and moving around. Maybe she’ll be better off at Gold’s.

As a Rumbelle shipper, I naturally chose Mr. Gold. However, she’d probably be better off living with Mary Margaret. MM can help steer her away from temptation and help her forgive and forget. 😉 But at the same time, I don’t really see Mr. Gold allowing Belle to live with MM. He said he’d protect her and he probably feels that he’s the only one who can do that.

Being the rumbelle fangirl I am, I also chose Gold. I can see him easily becoming over protective and not letting her out of his sight. This is not completely a bad thing. Yes Belle has always strived for freedom (which she deserves) but after all the pain she has been put through, she could use a shoulder to lean on.

I also voted for Gold. I can see him inadvertently alienating Belle from the rest of the town because of his over protectiveness towards her.

Belle needs to be with Mr. Gold!…and Mr. Gold will need to come up with some magic ring for her to wear to protect her when he isn’t around…

I’m really looking forward to their scenes together in Storybrooke, and I know it will be just as sweet..maybe even sweeter than their scenes together in FTL. ***SIGH***

As wonderful as it would be for Mr. Gold and Belle to live together, I have to wonder about Moe. How will Belle react when she learns that he was beaten up by Mr. Gold? It does depend on her feelings toward her father. But I don’t see Maurice as a horrible father–that is due mostly to the fact that he is still underdeveloped an a character. And we know that Regina lied about Belle dying. The possibility of Maurice banishing Belle is still open, or perhaps Regina had come along and either threatened or managed to convince him to give Belle to her.

I agree with you. I voted for Mr Gold but there is that problem of what will happen when she finds out what Rumple did to her father. I think she is very close to him and I believe that everything Regina said about how her father had hurt her was a complete lie.

Like an engagement ring? 😆 ‘Cause seriously, if they’re not engaged next season, it better happen at some point at least before the series ends.

I voted for Mr. Gold too.

I believe at this point in time that the safest place for Belle is defiantly with Mr. Gold.

She needs his protection as much as he needs her to be his rock when it comes to remaining humane.
