Rumpel bringing back magic is certainly a win for him. I think Belle is more of a win for Jefferson because he finally struck a blow against Regina. I still think the distributions of power seem pretty even. Rumpel has his power, but now everyone knows not to trust him, and that means something. The family is not going to be working with him unless they really need to and if his power is in his deals then his power is somewhat muted. Though i do think he will create situations where the family thinks that they have to work with him.
Though i still don’t get how he stays in town or how Regina does if everyone has their memories and is stuck in Storybrooke. I would think Rumpel would have to be like living in the forest. I guess there is the possibility that Emma, Snow, Charming, Henry won’t know what the purple smoke monster did to the land so they will not realize that Rumpel and Regina have magic and will not quite realize the danger. Then the evil characters can be playing their game behind the good sides back. Though i am not sure how that works because if Rumpel and Regina get their magic back then so should the fairies and you think the family would be aware of that. And i also don’t think that Regina is very good at being subtle in some ways though she can play a good long con, but she wants Henry back very badly so i am not sure how she and Emma live together in any sort of peace especially if Regina has magic because you think she would just force throw Emma against the wall and rip her heart out of her chest. We will see.

Emma still believe, she became the hero, she killed the dragon, she saved Henry and partial broke the curse which allowed everyone to regain their memories. Her character went to the hero place and gets that credit.

I agree. Emma was amzing in the finale. 😀 I love how her actions closely mirrored that of her father’s in Fairytale land. But like others have said, Mr. Gold manipulates both sides so that no matter who wins, he still emerges victorious.

Team seems to have 1 for getting everyone’s memories back (too early to tell if the curse is entirely broken if at all), 2 getting Henry and to share an I love you. Meanwhile, Team Regina gets no points she loses points if anything. Too many to count how many points Regina lost. Right now she has no apparent allies, she’s like they say fresh out of friends.

Emma believed, got Henry, and showed the town who Regina really was.
Gold got Belle, and of course, manipulated everyone so he had the biggest advantage in the end, and brought magic back. (Who knows why, though.)
Regina may have lost for about 2 minutes, since everyone remembered and knew who she was, but now, she has magic, and it’s just like the situation in FTL: no one really likes her, they know she’s bad, but she’s the powerful evil queen. Emphasis on powerful, since not everyone can control magic. Unless they can…May 17, 2012 at 11:42 am #147142hjbauParticipantI think that at this time Emma and Rumpel scored points, but really no one has won yet. The game is still afoot. And everyone has good field position because Rumpel and Regina have their magics back, we assume, and Snow, Charming, Emma have the loyalty of the people who regained their memories even if they don’t exactly have magic which is a different sort of power, but should not be discounted because they took down Regina and George before and took back the kingdom so i think they can do it again. And they have magical allies like Red and the Fairies. That is why i think the power distribution is fairly even.
