I agree, Demileto. Maleficent was much more evil and menacing in the Disney tales than the Evil Queen ever was. I mean, she had a Dark Castle on a mountain with demon boars as her guards. Now that’s evil. 😆

I was wondering if Cora was more powerful then Rumble, she do know about the wrath in another realm and how to protect herself from the curse, about the globe to find Bae, the gaint and the beans which Rumble never knew and find strange

She said she only knew what he taught her……And he def knew about the globe, but he was wrapped up in the Seer’s prophecy that he will find Bae in another realm and was busy trying to set everything up to travel there…….plus about him not knowing how she escaped the curse–I blame that on Regina. She told him herself that her mother was supposedly dead, that she had seen the body herself. So why would he question her word when she saw the body, especially when he had so many other things going on.And about the beans…I just don’t think he cared. He never really seems to care unless it interferes with himself directly, his plans,or someone he cares about.Like when Greg was in the hospital, and Whale asked him to fix Greg–he didn’t give a [email protected] probably would have just wallked out of the hospital and not mentioned anything about Greg had Whale not asked him

I think Cora definitely knew more than Rumple taught her. She even called him “master” as a ploy to make out that Rumple was more powerful than her. Rumple knew of the globe but I think he had a hard time finding it. It seems there were fake globes because Rumple questions whether the one Cora gave him was “truly it”. Rumple even asked Cora if she knew any memory spells which suggests that he thinks she might know more than him. Rumple did try to find other methods to cross worlds with before using the curse. He had the curse as an option but he was looking for less world destroying ways such as the magic slippers and the bean that Smee managed to get.

All magic comes with a price!

Rumpel probably had more raw power than Cora, but power isn’t everything. She was willing to play more dirty and manipulative than he was, since she didn’t have a heart–and he still did. Plus I do think she learned some things in Wonderland and elsewhere like Price of Magic says, and I think as they say, knowledge is power too.

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

I think it was a one shot deal, like LOST’s fail safe.
That’s pretty much what a fail safe is, a last resort.
Emma and Regina took the power from it, rendering it useless – like Desmond did on LOST.
There are several LOST parallels throughout OUAT, so, I’m thinking this was one of them.

I’d be inclined to think the same thing, if not for the shot of Regina picking it up and looking at it after the fact. We don’t see what she did with it, so she may well have slipped it in her pocket, which means it’s with them on the boat. So I’m not ruling it out just yet, because it may be somehow re-programmable and re-useable in their fight against PP, especially if it was originally something of his own creation, which it may have been, considering its purpose was to isolate Henry, which is exactly what PP needed to happen.
