‘Thing is the good guys could have ended that fight right then and there. By letting her ‘in’ with the group. If you’re a good guy, and a ‘savior’ non the least, then forgivness is your thing… But this show doen’t have all through bad guys and they don’t have all through good guys either.. So there!
I keep seing Regina as that little kid on the playground who doesn’t fit in. All the other kids are playing hide and seek- “I found you !!”
But no one wants to find the Regina kid.. Even though she sits behind the bush yelling “Hey …I’m here !”- So at some point that Regina kid, punches out at the next kid too run past the bush. (Hey !…I work at a preeschool 🙄 )But I liked that they told it this way. Even though I found it so very sad 🙁 As someone said, it is setting it up for later in the season.. Regina’s going to have a tough time staying sober.

Emma saved Regina from a soul-sucking wraith and Regina didn’t thank Emma for that. Emma and Snow and Charming stopped an angry ass mob from beating the crap out of a magic-less Regina but she didn’t thank them for that. They stopped the wraith from getting her not once, but twice… but they didn’t receive any thank you.
But little miss Regina saves Snow and Emma from a vortex block thingy that she semi is responsible for to begin with and she received thank yous for her efforts but that wasn’t enough? Something is wrong here.
Also about the invitation. No one invited anyone to dinner. Red offered food at Granny’s is on the house. Everyone was going. No one invited any one else. They just started leaving the room and Regina simply didn’t follow. If she had, they might have looked at her weird. And in all honesty, I think it was Henry more so than anyone who made sure Regina didn’t go with them. His look at her and “I’ll see you later” made it clear that she wasn’t to come with them. And that should be perfectly fine. Henry just reunited with Emma and Snow, let him have some time with them without the awkwardness of all parties involved.
I didn’t feel bad for her. I wanted to slap her because she started to allow herself to be manipulated again by Gold. The dude knows how to play her heartstrings.

Because we have kind hearts (maybe even kindred hearts 😈 )We only want the misfits too have a chance already…!
You wouldn’t understand Schmacky, you’re one of the dwarfs, of course you’re on Snow and Charmings side 😉December 3, 2012 at 6:54 pm #163526schmackyParticipantOh so a kind (or kindred) heart means having sympathy and excuses at every turn for Regina but not for others? Do a whole double-standard thing? OK then. Good to know.

December 3, 2012 at 7:18 pm #163529PriceofMagicParticipantI think Henry should of at least offered Regina if she wanted to come along and given her the chance to refuse. Whilst it would have been terribly awkward had Regina gone along, and she shouldn’t have, given her history with Snow and everybody else, she is still Henry’s mom. Henry just sort of dropped her. By at least inviting her, Henry would have at least made Regina feel that Emma’s return didn’t mean she was suddenly rejected by him again.

Keeper of FelixDecember 3, 2012 at 7:32 pm #163532schmackyParticipantHenry purposely made it so she wouldn’t come along. His “I’ll see you later” was clearly “I’ll see you later mom but right now, I’m gonna be with them.”
And what’s wrong with that? He’s been separated from Emma and Snow for awhile, at some point during their separation he wasn’t even sure if they were alive, and now they’re back and he wants to spend time with them without the added awkwardness of their attempted murderer right there with them.
Regina may have saved Emma and Snow, but she also put them in a position to be saved in the first place. It’s awkward but it’s completely understandable for Emma and Co not inviting her and very much understandable why Henry wouldn’t ask her to come along either.

I disagree. His “I’ll see you later” seemed more like “Oh my real mom is back! Bye!”

Keeper of FelixDecember 3, 2012 at 8:12 pm #163543schmackyParticipantIf that was the case and didn’t care about Regina since Emma is back, why would he go up to her and say she’s really changed and thank her again and hug her and enjoy that hug? He didn’t have to. He wanted to. Because Regina is still his mother and he’s a 10 year old boy and I’m confused so I can just imagine how confused he is about all of this.
December 3, 2012 at 8:25 pm #163544PriceofMagicParticipantHenry was grateful that Regina helped Emma and Snow and he can see that Regina is trying to change. However, if Henry had to choose between Emma and Regina, Regina would always come second best and Regina knows this. Regina could have easily not disarmed the portal and she would have had Henry to herself. Charming was under a sleeping curse and Snow and Emma were in a different land, Regina was in a position to have what she wanted, Rumple even told her as much, and yet she chose to help Emma and Snow for Henry’s sake. Despite her history of trying to rid herself of the Charmings, she had achieved that and she helped bring them back for Henry. That was a big step forward for her and Henry basically ditched her. Rumple’s little dig was just pointing out the truth, Henry loves Emma more.
