Fine then. He ditched her. Because he wanted to spend time with the family he hasn’t had his entire life and then got separated from for several weeks.

    He’s a bad son.

Poor Regina. When she goes evil and uses magic on Emma, it’s totally justified. *nods*

I feel bad for Regina in that last scene, but not that bad where I’m going to actually fault Henry, Emma, or any of the other characters for her feeling that way. Well, maybe Rump because he was pouring salt into her wound and manipulating her yet again.

Henry hadn’t seen his family since the season 2 premiere. Him wanting to spend some time with them is understandable. I don’t see what the big deal is.

Exactly!! And it’s not like he ignored her! He was comforting her and everything up until the dinner thing..

Seriously he hadn’t seen his mom and grandmother in a looong time and he was worried about his grandfather bc of the sleeping curse so is it really bad that he’s a kid that wanted to spend time with his mom who just came back?

I agree. I felt sorry for Regina, but I’m not going to begrudge Henry the chance to spend some time with his family. He’s been around Regina all season, but he’s only had a few minutes with Emma and Snow. Give the kid a break.

I’m not faulting Henry for wanting to spend time with his family, that’s completely understandable, it’s the way he went about it. One of Regina’s fears since Emma came to Storybrooke was that she would take Henry away from her. Now that Emma has returned, it looks like that fear is coming true. Regina had no place in going to dinner with Henry and the Charmings, everyone knew that, but Henry should have at least offered. Regina would’ve probably refused anyway but there is a difference between declining an invitation and being left out.

It’s the look on Regina’s face that makes me feel sorry for her. Henry, why couldn’t you just invite her and let her decline?

Yes, but it wasn’t Emma didn’t take Henry away from Regina, it was Regina that drove Henry from her by trying to convince him and those around him that he was crazy even though he was right all along. Not only that, but she kept trying to kill or destroy those that he cared about like Emma, Snow, and Charming last season. In this season, despite them helping her, she would have killed David had Henry not stopped her, and she really didn’t help to bring Emma and Snow back, only getting involved when Henry was getting injured by his dreams. She’s lucky that he still allows her in his life in any capacity at all after everything that she’s done to him and those that he cares about.

I understand what you mean Price’ I also felt it was a very sad moment. But it was also very good writing and acting- so I loved it πŸ™‚

But Henry is afterall only 10 or 11, so he probably didn’t think about it as turning away from her. He just wanted to have dinner and spent time with his ‘other’ family.

True and it’s possible that he may have thought she didn’t want to come anyway. But just look at her face πŸ˜†
