This is how I think it’s going down based on the pics:

1. Something happens and they all go running.
2. Henry is threatened by Pan in some way. Regina steps in front of Henry to protect him and gets injured.
3. Rumple goes after Pan, pulls him in close, and stabs him with his dagger.
4. Peter morphs into someone older.  The photos of Peter and the older guy are staged the same exact way making it appear there is really only one person.  Whether it’s Rumple’s father or not, I don’t know.
5. Peter/Mystery-Person disappears.  Rumple collapses and Belle falls down crying.
6. Belle cries over Rumple, kisses him and he is transformed, his undoing completed and revived by True Love’s Kiss.
7. Jo, along with RG and the rest of Rumple’s fangirls collapse in a puddle of feels.
8. Suffer a three month break until the show returns in March.

Yup this sounds about right to me. It’s either Rumple’s father OR it’s what PP would be all grown up. He rapidly aged.

So, who is the man that Rumple stabs after stabbing PP? : I’m not sold on the PP playing mind tricks because he’s being stabbed to death. His magic would be draining from his body at that point. That is why I’m tempted to say PP is not the real identity. The real identity is a man closer in age to Rumple, presumably his own father.
