I still remember when someone described Ruby as “keeping Henry from intruding on the main plot”.
We’ll see where the writers intend to go soon enough, but they’re almost done with this NL arc, so I feel like they are starting to set up for Oz. The question is, could there be connection between NL and Oz, or is it just through the “Fairy Evil Overlords”?

Unless the do the whole “Red is super busy running the diner behind the scenes so that’s why she’s never out front like Granny was” thing (which is lame) it’s not Granny.

You could be right! All of us who have maintained the the BF is sneaky ever since “The Return” would feel so vindicated if it turns out she’s Sneaky Fairy who fakes her own death and flies away in the dead of night.

I’m still hoping that she created Rumple’s dark curse because of a former love and that is why she hates love. Also, if she is SNEAKY, I wonder why she didn’t help Rumple, Baelfire, and Regina.
I’m still hoping that the Disney villain Chernabog is her former lover or brother and that is why she created the dark curse but it backfired on them.

What if Chernabog was the original dark one. Blue Fairy magicked up (or someone else came into possession of) the magical dagger that could kill Chernabog. However, as we are often told, all magic comes with a price. Whilst the dagger did indeed kill Chernabog, the price was that his evil/darkness transferred through the dagger to the person who stabbed him in order to maintain the magical balance of light and dark.
