I’m not giving up on Ariel just yet. The fact that the actress has previously played a girl who uses sign language just seems like too perfect of a fit for a character who will have a storyline involving not being able to speak. “Darling” is such a random thing to use for a name that I’m wondering if it’s just a placeholder of sorts. Maybe there’s a scene where Hook calls her “darling” or something, so that’s what they’re using instead of giving away her actual name. If she was Wendy Darling, then listing her as Wendy gives it away just as much as listing her as Darling, so why not just list her as Wendy? Listing her as Darling is more ambiguous.

Also, we’ve been led to believe that we won’t see Peter Pan this season, and how do you have the Darling kids around if you don’t also have Peter Pan around?

From memory, the news of both girls’ casting was leaked at the same time. I thought someone saw them both hanging around set together?

Well, they had Lancelot without Arthur and Guinevere, so I don’t see this as unlikely.

Great find! A few things

1) Swanfire feelings. *starts to pass out cookies*

2) Looks like whatever deal Hook and Regina strike in The Evil Queen doesn’t last very long if Hook’s telling GOAT about the beans.

3) Lacey and Dr. Whale. Well that won’t go over well. Seems like even though Lacey has seen the darkness in Gold, it still isn’t enough. I’m starting to think that cane-o-pain scene with Whale is really Rumple trying to hold on to Lacey (Belle) and make her fall in love and NOT about Rumple going dark side.

4) Freya as Darling. I’ve been speculating for so long that she’s Ariel. I almost refuse to give up the ghost on that one. I still say Ariel and the other girl, Lanie, is Wendy because she looks much more like Wendy.

5) Bae arriving in NL! OMGOSH!! But a vengeful Capt Hook is not what I had in mind. I assumed Hook and Bae worked together at least for a short while.

Wait. How does that work out timeline wise. Rumple had already lost Bae when he ran into Hook and Milah in the EF.

That situation was different though, because that was Lancelot after the Arthur and Guinevere stuff had happened, so they weren’t needed to tell this part of his story. But, assuming Freya’s character will be in the Neverland flashbacks, if Wendy is there, then Peter Pan has to be around at the same time, because she got there by flying with him. If she’s in the present day in SB instead, I’m not sure how Wendy would fit into that, because she supposedly returned to our world quite some time ago.

Unless she is entirely in a flashback sequence…they don’t have to show her meeting Peter, I mean within that back story. It could be an earlier part of the story.
