Maybe season 2 will be trying to get back home to FTL. With their memories restored they may want to return home, I could see the over all arch of the next season being about the return. I can also see how the taking back of the lands in FTL could create a lot of stories. We still do not know why Rumple was imprisoned also.

So with Mr. Gold’s allusion that he and Belle will have all the time they need, I am wondering is the clock stopped again? When the smoke clears what will we see? Will there be castles and kingdoms? Will our couples still be together? Will they all still remember? Are they all locked into SB now? Can Emma still get out? What will Mr. Gold do to Regina now that he has found and knows about Belle? Will Bae come to SB? Will August be a wooden man? Will August become human again? What will Gepetto do when he sees August, Jiminy? Will the smoke clear and they all become the FTL characters they were even in dress, but they are stuck in SB? What will Belle do/think once the fog clears and she realizes what her true love has done? Will Regina, Jefferson, Rumple, and Sydney/Genie regain their magic powers?

That is a smart idea. It’s awfully suspicious he would know so much….which makes me think Jefferson might have written the book . Maybe by using magic he acquired people’s memories , which he filled the book up with.

Gold did tell Belle that she would remember him in his shop, and later in the forest that “there will be time for all that”. So he knows Belle will remember everything so that can be together (yay!) Thus, every other characters memory should be in tact too. I thought the curse was fully broken, but if time has stopped again, it seems almost like the magic from the curse is taking over, more powerful than before. That means no one can leave town still and Rump can’t find his son. Maybe he has another plan we don’t know about?

We don’t know if they’ll still remember in season 2 … For all we know the curse could just be back on.
I would be very upset if the curse comes back. I want to see the people of SB deal with the knowledge of who they are and knowing what they lost. The characters can grow much more with-out the curse.

May 15, 2012 at 9:15 am #146882listereParticipantThe biggest issue for me is the aging, surly Charming and Snow have to age. We’ve grown to love characters as they are but for the purpose of the story, they have to age.
Will the people of Storybrooke remember everything while they were in the curse. For instance will Snow remember that she befriended her daughter while under the curse in Storybrooke? Will Snow remember being a teacher…Or will they start over?
Also, what of Henry? He was born of the human world will he go into the magical realm?
Will the town stay the same or change back to how it was? What of the significance of the clock sticking at 8.15?
May 15, 2012 at 11:26 am #146884hjbauParticipantSnow and Charming are not going to age. I think there is no chance that is going to happen. That is one of the consequences of being stuck in the curse, that they lost that time with their daughter and it would be worse i think if they were already 28 years older and just lost that time all together. They would be in their fifties. I think that they will remember their real world selves because we saw Charming after he got his memories back driving a car. He drove his truck back into town to find Snow and he wouldn’t know how to do that if he didn’t still remember stuff.

I agree, I think they will know who they where in FTL and who they became in SB. I am hoping that the next season is the fight to take back the kingdom as well as the fight to get back to FTL.

I kind of think that they will all remember everything.. they just got their memories back. The BF said to Regina that she suggested she run. It seemed as though they just woke up from a haze where they realized what had gone on! And Mary Margaret said to David.. “You found me”.. it seemed as if she was implying that he knew all along they were supposed to be together, despite their false memories.
I’m a little nervous about the clock striking 8:15, I don’t want a “reset”. But I think that Gold wants everyone to remember, he just wants magic to help him find his son.. and to stir the pot a bit, lol.

I think August said he was “laying on a beach in Phuket”. Phuket is an island off the coast of Thailand. Lifted from another website “.. luscious limestone islands guarding hidden lagoons fed by sea caves and many underwater coral gardens with fluorescent schools of fish,” Sounds like the reference location for the Ariel story. Maybe to find Bae requires a visit to Phuket. While they are in Phuket, Ariel gives them a clue which could lead to the Mulan story.Perhaps when Bae is found he is a agricultural research scientist specifically working with… beans. 😉 😆
