POST-FINALE QUESTIONS/THEORIES

I don’t want a reset either. That has always been my biggest worry, but after seeing the episode i think it unlikely. I mean they did a lot of build up to this moment. Emma believing cannot go away. That just isn’t going to happen. That was the build up of the entire season and is going to stay. And honestly i think the change that was brought over the main characters and the secondary main characters like Snow, Charming, Red, Granny, Jiminy, is here to stay. There was enough build up and i wonder of what is going to happen next now that they have their memories that i just don’t think they should undo that.

This is my mini theory on what Season 2 might start out like…

I feel like Season 2 will start out with the clock stuck at 8:15 just like when Emma arrived. This time though, the curse will be the one that Rumple unleashed. Everyone may have their memories, but since time is once again frozen, it is 28 years in the future AGAIN, and they need to break that curse this time around. OR Emma will be the only one who believes now (besides Henry) and she has to break this curse again.

Just a random theory I had:)

– I think the SB characters will not go back to FTL. The 2nd+ season will have them dealing with their current selves with FTL memories.
– The fog. Could be magic returning. But to whom? (who or whom ???) Maybe Emma gets the magic because she is the offspring & it’s one more thing to throw at her as a new believer. Henry will get his magic when he “becomes of age” which could be in a following season.
– Mr Gold doesn’t have enough magic to track down his son. So he calls in his favor to Emma because she does have the power (=magic) to track down his son. Wasn’t that what she used to do?
– Emma finds clues to Bae’s whereabouts and uses Jefferson’s hat to go to that location. The location could be in this world or other realms.
– In the mean time Snow & Charming get married. As a wedding present Emma uses the hat and takes them to Phuket for a honeymoon. Maybe they can leave SB but not the country because of passports. Phuket was mentioned by August.
– Belle wants Mr Gold to do some “old fashion courting”, This could add a little humor into the awkardness of seeing Mr Gold do little, sweet things for her. awwwwhhhhhh…

I don’t think the purple cloud may necessarily be evil. Everyone thinks it is which is fair enough because the last time something like that engulfed them was the dark curse. The magic is from true love which is a good thing rather than the dark curse which required all sorts of ingredients including a heart. Why would Rumpel take Belle with him if he was going to do something evil. As for the clock stopping at 815, it could be coincidence that it hit that time the exact moment the purple cloud hit which it was stuck at when the curse was in full swing or time could have actually stopped again.

Everything that has happened so far appears to be part of Rumpel’s master plan. It seems to go like: Step 1- Get to a land without magic.
Step 2- Bring magic to the land without magic.
Step 3- Find Baelfire

Belle showing up definitely wasn’t in Rumpel’s calculations but now that he has her I can’t see him letting her go ever. He’s going to be over protective of her, he’s going to make her promises that he won’t necessarily keep. I can see a lot of conflict coming in Belle and Rumpel’s relationship. On a side note, how will Rumpel’s neighbours react when they realise they’ve been living next to Rumpelstiltskin all these years? Perhaps Rumpel’s neighbourhood is made up of all the dark creatures/people from the enchanted forest.

I wonder whether Regina and Rumpel will be ostracised in Storybrooke now that everyone remembers who they are and whether Belle would be ostracised too because of her association with Rumpel. Either that or everyone will pity her, thinking Rumpel’s bewitched her or something. Confrontation with Moe French coming up me thinks. I think Prince Charming will be the only one sympathetic to Belle and Rumpel’s relationship and realise that it is the proper thing especially after that conversation with Rumpel about true love. Everyone else is going to disapprove. Right now, I think Belle is going to be the only one who can stop Rumpel going too far with his plans. I like how some people describe Rumpel as an addict with his magic. He’s been “clean” for 28 years but now that the curse is broken, he’s started “using” again. Belle is going to stop him falling off that edge.

WIll everyone carry on with their jobs now that they know who they are?

I had a weird thought the other day that Dr Whale could be Ursula from the Little Mermaid. I know Ursula’s female but that doesn’t mean the writer’s didn’t swap gender.

Maybe they are setting Bae up to be Jack and the Beanstalk. I think that the curse is only partly broken. I always felt the first step was everyone remembering who they are. They are all going to be in SB with FTL memories, so everyone is going to be out of sorts and will be taking it out on one person but it should be two. Perhaps, the nightmare in the first minutes of episode 21 where they lynch Regina may come true in some way.

I have been thinking Gold’s favor might also be to have Emma find Bae.

I am wondering if the magic fog will change the face of SB. If there might be a castle or different kinds of homes when the fog lifts. But I watched aPaleyfest PopSugar interview with Robert Carlyle today and the last thing he mentioned was there would probably be more of Belle and Rumple but it would more likely be as Belle and Mr. Gold. So now I’m thinking magic comes to them the way they are in SB and that they will keep their memories of FTL but have to adjust to a different venue. It is hard for me to envision though.

1) I think Jefferson and Gold are associated with each other. We just have not seen a connecting backstory.
2) I don’t think so she was not really upset with Rumple in FTL when he had magic. She fell in love when he looked like a beast. He got angry at Belle because he thought he was being played by Regina thru Belle.
3) Yes he should pay the price and it should be Bae because if it not for him Rumple would not be putting everyone through this. Of course it in no way is Bae’s fault but Rumple’s. He should have jumped in the portal with him and now everybody suffers because he was a coward. Belle should not pay any price she’s spent 28 years captured, is that not enough of a price.
4) Yes I think so. Rumple gets his magic back then the price should be everyone gets their magic back. What goes around, comes around.
5) I think they will all get back to FTL. There’s no evidence it has been destroyed.
6) Wouldn’t it be shocking after all of that he finds Bae without using any magic at all. Would that not be the ultimate irony that he did not needmagic to find him.
7) No because that would mean everyone ages 28 years. I don’t know about you but that would mean Granny and Gepetto will be ancient, their old already. Wouldn’t it be interesting if Emma went back to being a child.

ooooo I like that idea. Maybe went all is said and done he’s actually living in Boston (Since it’s mentioned a lot.) Maybe he is a law professor (since that is where Abigail/Kathyrn was headed) specializing in ????? land, property, acquistions. Something to protect the rights of others.

That’s my thought too. If the curse was full reversed, they would have returned to FTL.

The fog has me really confused. Mr. Gold told Belle that the well returns what was once lost. There’s no magic in the real world but all the fairytale characters are lost, so maybe he is bringing them back to FT world.

Somehow, I get the feeling Mr. Gold’s favor will be bigger than that.
