I think what we need to remember about Jefferson is that he’s unhinged. I don’t think there was an logical explanation for what he was doing but if he could get Emma to get the hat to work then it is proof of magic and then she might be able to break the Curse, realizing that magic was real.

I do like the idea that he’s been keeping tabs on Emma before she came to SB. It would also work if August was tracking her and then telling Jefferson and marked it on a map.

Question: How come Snow didn’t go to the BF go get the spot off her heart?

Question: Regina used magic to go down in the elevator with Hook, then how come she could come back up the cuff took her magic away?

Side note if the BF had to do 4 interviews to get the job as a BF what a bummer for her they really haven’t used her hardly at all and to waste her time to do those 4 interviews I didn’t think was right

I think you know what my answer to this will be….
I do not believe that is something the BF can cure. It’s not magical in that there is a home remedy. That is something Snow will probably always live with and will have to make smaller through actions, not magic. Its like Regina, only doing good will erase her black heart.

Adam answered this after the episode but the cuff was not activated until she was in the room with GOAT.

Yes, it is Emma’s blanket.

Not too sure about the clocks. After seeing Neal’s apt w/clocks, I figured it was a kind of foreshadow/connetion linking Henry to Neal. Like the Geronimo Jackson stickers/CD was a connetion with Emma, Henry and Neal.

1) Foreshadowing Neal maybe
2) Henry noticed that time had stopped in SB, the clock at the library didn’t move and he became obsessed with seeing if all the clocks had stopped. I’d be interested to see if they were all set at 8:14. I think, overall it is supposed to demonstrate that Henry alone realizes that something is wrong with SB.
