I’d also love for him to tell us why Belle’s kisses in the finale didn’t break the DO curse, dangit. I can come up with reasons for the kisses before that, but…
….but the reunion kiss and the goodbye kiss were *intense* and wonderful and the only explanation I can come up with is that magic works differently in SB. TLK is enough to break simple sleeping curse but not to break the DO curse which is much more extreme.

Yeah, magic is different but we HAVE seen kisses breaking curses in SB–mainly the sleeping curse, but also The Curse (though it had to be the savior). And we know the conditions have to be just right for TLK to work–has to be mutual, and apparently can’t be doubted, at the very least. Still. I hope they address this in S3 if we can’t squeeze an answer out of Adam before then.

I have but Adam is super busy and gets thousands and thousands of tweets a day. We’ll keep trying.

Blue Fairy told Rumple that the bean Bae used was the last one left and that there was no other way to reach our world. Yet when the curse was about to be cast, suddenly there were these magic trees that could be used to make a transportation wardrobe. There was only one tree left by this time, but this was a couple hundred years later! Methinks Blue Fairy didn’t want to help Rumple that much…

Oh, you’re probably right. She helps when its convenient for her. I mean, she practically goaded Rumpelstiltskin into attacking her in The Return.

lol. We’ll never give this up fully.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 30, 2013 at 7:13 pm #196627KebParticipantI kinda believe BF didn’t know the tree could work until the last minute, and by then there was no persuading Rumple to listen to a fairy. Besides, everything had been set in motion by then.

May 30, 2013 at 11:50 pm #196676MysteryKat25ParticipantI’m looking over early episode transcripts for various quotes that jump out at me (will do a full rewatch later) and I had forgotten about this quote from Emma in 1×05:
You’re smart, you know not to get involved with a married guy. It’s not worth the heartache – trust me.
She was talking to MM about whether she should get involved with David but it sounded very…personal to Emma. I know we went around and around on it when we theorized she was likely talking about Henry’s father but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
It could be from her experience as a bounty hunter, as we saw with that guy Ryan in the pilot, but it could also be one of her relationships over the past decade. Her walls were still clearly up with Graham but I doubt she hasn’t had any flings here and there since her stint in jail and she seems to have a lot of random ammo to use in the guy department so this quote gets lumped in with those that doesn’t quite fit Neal but aren’t directed at anybody specifically that we know until now.
While it could have been something someone told her about her boyfriend while she was in jail (we haven’t seen how they knew to arrest her yet), I feel like she would have said something to him in Manhattan about the fact he forgot to tell her he was married and as far as we know now, he wasn’t when they met unless they’ve just left that little detail out and nobody bothered to address it so again…I don’t think this relates to Neal.
Just one of those pesky things I thought I’d throw out there. I can’t imagine that anybody else from her past decade of life will be brought into anything unless she just randomly keeps meeting FTL people out in the world but it seems like a story that should have been explored more or was a misdirect or possibly they hadn’t decided exactly how they wanted to handle Neal (which is odd cause they planned him out from the beginning to be Bae and had to wait to see him til they got the rights to NL to explain him away cause we used to be told we’d only see him much much later on).
Basically my head is spinning but a quote is a quote and must be mentioned if remotely suspicious, even though not everything will ever 100% be perfectly tied up into a neat little bow.
Carry on.
