I heard K & H indicate that the Victorian England depicted in the show is not part of “our” world. It is the England of a storybook. I can’t remember if it was an interview about Wonderland or OUAT but it certainly helps the whole “timeline” issue of Baelfire in London, England.

They’ve said things that would suggest that, but there was a tweet recently insisting that it was our Victorian England. Thus the headache.

They’ve said that Wonderland’s Victorian England is another world, though, and Alice lives contemporaneously with the characters of Once.

Baelfire was probably better off landing in Victorian England than he would’ve been landing in the nineties. At least he blended in to Victorian England.

That is a headache because I remember them being really specific about the fact that they have not envisioned it as real world England but storybook land. I am trying to remember which interview I saw or heard it on.

Question: Between the BF and Rumble whipping up these curses at the last moment is really strange, especially Rumble if he had the curse why didn’t he activate after he came back from getting Bae ❓

Rumple was kind of distracted with trying to get Belle back. Bae even said to him something along the lines of “You’ve spent years looking for me then I come to town and you just disappear”. Perhaps Rumple didn’t think Storybrooke was in much danger until GOAT started drawing attention to themselves. Greg was sneaking around Storybrooke unnoticed by everybody whilst Tamara was pretending to be Neal’s beloved fiancée. Rumple didn’t bother meeting Tamara, perhaps if he had, he may have sensed that she wasn’t what she seemed.

Rumple also said that he didn’t “give a d****” when everyone else was freaking out over Greg in “In The Name of the Brother.” He had lost Belle and he didn’t much care about anything else except finding his son. And to everyone else, Greg was harmless. They didn’t realize what he was doing.

The BF explanation is simple: Deus Ex Machina.

Yea, Rumble said that but he could have still done the curse sometime after or passed the curse to Emma to do while he was dying I just think it was strange and did he have this curse along or did he just whip it up like the BF.

Also, you know the BF must of had the power along too she could restore August to a Boy why couldn’t she do that for Belle and Sneezy and she didn’t have to have a hair to do that for August to change him. 😕

Why couldn’t the BF cloak the town like she did the bean field why did Rumble have to have a curse to do this?
