With Rumple: He didn’t think there needed to be a spell to protect the town. No one but Emma suspected GOAT. They all just thought Greg was a harmless but annoying tourist who wouldn’t leave and Tamara was Neal’s finacee so that’s why she was there. They never suspected that GOAT work for THO.
With the BF and her spells: two different spells. She could return August to his little boy self without needing any of his hair because she had done it before and all she needed was her wand. With Sneezy and Belle, it was a memory spell. Two different spells that needed two different things.
With the BF and her cloaking spell: Because Plot Device Fairy is Plot Device-y.[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"June 15, 2013 at 7:14 pm #198468PriceofMagicParticipantBF’s cloaking of the bean field spell was flimsy at best, Regina removed it with just a wave of her hand and no effort. Would it really be such a good idea to leave the protection of the town to BF’s shoddy cloaking spell?

But that is because Regina knew it was there others wouldn’t know the town is there beside the BF is going to have to help Belle cast the new curse anyway because Belle has no idea how to do it. 🙄

Possibly. We don’t really know what this cloaking spell entails. It could be just reading the scroll outloud. Not giving the BF isn’t a matter of trying to make her look suspicious, it’s because they needed Belle to stay behind for whatever story they’ve got planned in S3.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"June 15, 2013 at 8:09 pm #198472HappyEndingsSpectatorYou know what is strange too, if the BF had that cloaking spell why didn’t she recloak the town after Emma broke the spell to protect the town especially when they didn’t know about Greg no one brought her up I wonder why ❓
Also, why didn’t Snow go to the BF for help on her heart ❓

Because plot device BF is plot device-y. All of those questions are relevant but it doesn’t have anything to do with Blue herself, in all honesty. In order to advance the plot, they needed GOAT to come to town in order to set up S3 so Blue couldn’t put any kind of barrier/cloaking spell or else we wouldn’t have had a storyline.
And with the heart: because magic cannot cure a black heart. I doubt Snow’s heart will ever go back to the way it was. Snow has to learn to live with what she’s done and know that she too is capable of deception and manipulation.

Considering Snow is meant to become “as dark as the woman whose life she takes”, Snow hasn’t really gone dark and nowhere near as dark as Cora. Season 3 would be a good chance to explore Snow going dark especially if by doing so it meant she could help save Henry. Kind of a how far are you willing to go to save a loved one? thing.

Keeper of FelixJune 15, 2013 at 8:55 pm #198476HappyEndingsSpectatorYou don’t think they will make Snow the “Snow Queen” ❓
Elsa the Snow Queen is the deuteragonist/false antagonist in the upcoming 2013 Disney animated film Frozen. She is voiced by Idina Menzel.
Contrary to how most adaptations portray her, this version of the Snow Queen will not be a villain, since the Snow Queen in the original fairy tale was not intended to be evil. Because of this, the real villain of the film will likely be someone else. Also, the fairy tale the film is based on involved an evil troll (implied to represent Satan) building a mirror which he will use to turn everyone evil, only to accidentally smash it in the process, and one of the shards ending up hitting Kai. It’s hinted that the TBD real villain may have been the one that gave Elsa her ice-based powers in the first place just to make her look bad.

The first phase of this was participating in the murder of Cora, leaving her heart dark in that spot. The next phase is seeing how far that darkness goes and that will probably be followed by watching Snow come to grips with the knowledge of what she has done and live with her now darkened heart.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"June 15, 2013 at 11:16 pm #198480gypsyParticipantCan any of these things really be considered “plot holes” when the series hasn’t ended yet?
They may address them in future eps.
