It a seems likely (so Snow and David have a storyline next season) that her darkening heart will be explored in Neverland as they search for Henry and find a way back to SB.
On the ship right now there’s a equal balance of optimists, realists and pessimists, Charming/Snow, Emma/Hook, Rumple/Regina respectively but if that balance changes things could get messy.
