I am definitely a fan of the grandma Regina and great grandpa Rumpel that could be there. They would actually have to use it though and actually have the characters talk about their past and not just have it be about the new big bad.
[adrotate group="5"]The gnarled twisted up Once family tree is one of my favorite things about the show. I love that nearly everyone is related to everyone else in some way. The only problem is the show forgets about that so much of the time.

I am also very curious about what these characters will look like. I guess we can assume that Rumple will look the same, being immortal and having not changed over the past 300 years. Hook will age to about 50. But Regina though? Glamour spell or grey hair and whiskers? haha.
As for what the writers will do with the characters…maybe they will appear in flashbacks only, because their past actions affected Lucy and Henry’s current situation? Certainly this would keep the characters looking young.

I think there is no chance they are going to age Regina, Rumpel, or Hook. I don’t know how they are going to get around that, but i think they will. They are going to look the same, in my opinion.
I think there is no chance of the characters just being in flashbacks either. I don’t see the point in keeping them if they were going to do that.
If they’ve been cursed for as long as Lucy has been born, they probably wouldn’t have aged much.
Plus rump and Regina are magical so I’m sure they don’t have to worry about the years.

I just don’t think that they are going to make Regina or Hook look older. They are going to pick a way to get around it, whether a curse, or an alternate reality version, time travel version, anything. Like you said, Rumpel is the dark one and his physical appearance never ages, so he will look like the same.

They haven’t been cursed that long. Lucy escaped the curse and she didn’t age nor did Henry as she appeared on his doorstep. I doubt it’s been a long time. I think at best it’s been a couple of weeks . I don’t think Rumple, Regina, and Hook have been cursed a long time. I think the curse is very recent. That way none of our characters will have aged including the characters that are not gonna be in S7.
