Maybe as the New Curse hits, people revert to their original forms? He is a human first so maybe we see a shot of a rat running by and then it becomes Smee

But would that be worth getting the actor back for? Is it worth paying him to be there if that’s his only role? I guess if he became human again, he’d go find Hook, so that would give him something else to do. It’d also give Hook someone else to interact with, so I’m starting to like this idea.

I smell a conspiracy

Over in the promo pics thread, Lauren suggested that perhaps we’ll go back to the moment when the doctor said Emma can change her mind and keep the baby, and we’ll see her do just that, and launch into some AU stuff, (Lauren suggested that the change in choice would be triggered by the NewCurse). That could maybe explain the lack of mention of flashbacks.

We still have to factor Henry Sr in somehow though, so I guess there’s gotta be at least one FTL flashback of some sort.

I am betting on Regina talking to her Dad again at her castle vs Emma talking to the Doc about who will get Henry.

I have this wacky theory about why Regina’s dad will be there: what if as Regina is casting the protection spell against the Curse (I assume that is what she is doing) part of the consequences are that your loved ones come and like “talk”to you? She used her father’s heart to start the original one and maybe now she has a vision of him as this new Curse appears.

Hmmm. So maybe Pans curse causes Emma to change her choice and she keeps Henry. Everyone else goes back to whatever land they are from however, Hook just so happens to a little of Blues potion that Smee may have stolen. Somehow, he drinks it in the EF, and finds a way to New York to try to talk to Emma who doesn’t know him nor care about him 😛 (not a captain swan shipper) and finds that she is with another man, that new actor. Hr gets arrested for a butt-hole to her, not knowing she is a bounty hunter or whatever she was

I kind of picture the doctor and nurse looking at baby Henry, laying him in his hospital crib, talking about him, maybe putting a tiny tag around his wrist.  As they walk away, the camera pans to a wider shot, and we see a familiar face looking through the nursery window.

I think this new cruse will cause people to have false memories about what might have been but not what actually was. That could be why Regina’s father could be there  since what would it be like if she’d never enacted the dark curse? Her father would still be alive. What if Emma hadn’t given up Henry? She would have raised him herself, which could be why we see the doctor again, since perhaps this time, we see what would have happened if Emma had held him.   She would have ended up keeping him. What would have happened if Hook had kept Baelfire on his ship; would Bae have convinced Hook not to pursue revenge against Rumple? Would Hook and Neal have become friends instead of rivals? What if Rumple hadn’t turned Belle out of his dark castle? Would she have broken his dark one spell and convinced him to find an alternative way I find Bae other than the dark curse? And if Rumple had not created the dark curse in the first place would Regina and Snow have been friends instead if enemies? Would Snow and Charming have raised Emma in the EF?

Are you saying you picture Snow raising baby Emma In the EF, while at the same time Emma is raising Henry in our world? I need a deeper imagination.  You come up with some crazy theories that I just can’t picture, but many of them play out just as you describe.

I’m gonna need an OUAT AU storybook to keep track of not only who’s who, but who’s where, and who’s when.

I really love and appreciate being able to come here and read all the wonderful theories and thoughts.  It gives me such insight into things that you all see and feel, things that I might have overlooked.

Good point. The problem is that if Emma grew up in the EF and Neal had eventually come back and been raised by Rumple, or even if he stayed in NL, then we’ve got no Henry. I’m a pretty firm believer that you cannot have Henry without both his parents…*sigh*

We’ve thrown out so many theories at this point I can’t even keep them all straight.

I have a lot of favorite ideas but there is always something that seems to contradict them. I think, right now, I’m leaning toward NYC being an AU of Emma’s “dream world” in which she never gave up Henry but images from what her life is supposed to be (ie: the first 3 seasons) keep popping up. So she meets Hook in the street; maybe she goes to a pawn shop and Gold is there. Facets of who Emma was supposed to be have always followed her: she got a tattoo of her Father’s family crest without knowing what she was doing, for example.

As for the EF, I think that might also be an AU but of everyone else.
