The fact that RH even has an object which could possibly create a portal lends credence to the theory that his while, while pregnant, came to A Land Without Magic, where she gave birth to their child.

Maybe he’s keeping this object safe with the Merry Men and that’s where Mulan, Nealfire, RH and SleepingPhil have to go? Can we think of objects associated with RH and his Merry Men that might work? Off the top of my head:
–Little John’s staff.
–Alan-a-dale’s Lyre
–Robin’s bow and arrow of course, though Snow had it when we last saw it.

Whatever it is though, it can’t be able to open a portal all on its own, otherwise Robin wouldn’t still be bumming around in FTL. There’s gotta be another piece to the puzzle that’d make it work.

Like he puts the arrow through his clothes? I’m having trouble visualizing. this.
He could attach a rope to the arrow and send it one end would be tie to the arrow the other too Neai since the arrow never misses it target.

Maybe whatever “most precious possession” Robin once used himself, Neal will try to use it the same way, but it won’t work, and that’ll be because Neal needs his own “most precious possession”. Then he’ll pull the swan pendant out of his pocket, (and all the SFers will cheer and/or pass out).

I might stop breathing if this comes true!

October 8, 2013 at 10:42 am #214719RumplesGirlKeymasterI do think that could be the wrinkle. The object Robin holds most dear wouldn’t necessiarly work for Nealfire because he has no sentimental attachment to it: but the pendant…! Given his speech to Mulan in 301 about how not going after Emma was the greatest mistake/regret of his life, using the pendant she wore for over a decade and gave back to him would certainly have value to him emotionally.

but it would involve using one of Robin Hood’s most precious possessions. I still think it is the Bow and Arrow, as for the wrinkle how do they aim it to get to Emma or something like that.

Yes the wrinkle is that RH’s most treasured possession won’t work on Neal because that item doesn’t mean anything to Neal. He has to use something that means something to HIM, not RH.
