This is based upon the preview…. my theory

I agree with MIDAS touch theory but I want to take it further….. IN the preview and in Skin deep… E.Q. says there is a mermaid that she wants to deal with…. I think she wanted L-in-Lk to assume someone persona for her.

Preview show the MERMAID / LADY OF THE LAKE and it becomes known that she can assume every / any persona as she turns into SNOW to entice PC-James. I THINK this is after the wedding but before he finds SNOW and the poison apple.

Could she have not assumed the persona of ABIGAIL previously to fool James. Is that why she has a bad attitude? She keep failing at her mission. He is not responding to her whiles? I am still working on this theory and will be posting more …. ( Got a GdS that is suppose to be in bed; poor old Nonnie’s never get time to think.)

Addendum:

I think the mean mermaid is URSULA >>> corrected siren/ fat octopus / water witch.. all round undersea evil character…

EQ went to RUMPLE to get help with a mermaid….She wanted something from her… ENTICE PC JAMES ???

We find out the mermaid can change to any form ( ie Ursula in Little Mermaid) EQ wanted leverage over the mermaid to get her to do something for her.

The mermaid looks like Abigail … I think she has been playing PC James all along (at EQ behest ) trying to entice him away from Snow and she failed.
( We know she could come out of the water ie Little Mermaid tries to marry the prince. ) She has a bad attitude cause URSALA ALWAYS HAD A BAD ATTITUDE and she could not hide it. Her failure made her worse tempered.

In the preview URSULA tries to entice PC James again but this time as pretend SNOW.

THERE WILL be more to the theory but I am still thrashing it out…. WHAT do you think???

Ursula isn’t a mermaid, or at least not the versions I remember. Evil yes.

It is hard to read when you bold everything. I think that the mermaid she was talking about is Ariel and the Evil Queen will take the place of Ursala.

The woman coming out of the water is not a mermaid she is the Siren who can change into different people and the episode is going to be right after Charming broke up with Kathryn and he is looking for Snow White.

I don’t think it is Kathryn. Though the Siren can become any woman she wants to. There are photos from this episode. Here is one of the siren.
