Snow and Charming named their baby Neal.
My opinion: NO. You do not name your newborn after your daughters ex-lover.
Not happy.
Thoughts?
I have no opinion, namely because the child is going to get less screentime than Henry has this past half season.
I think it was a beautiful gesture of love to their grandson.
I think they were going for all the Star Wars references they could. Star Wars complicated the Luke-Leia-Han triangle by making Luke and Leia siblings. OUAT makes its triangle even more awkward, though only on a metaphorical level.

I have mixed feelings about naming the baby Neal. On one hand I think it’s a nice gesture to Rumple and maybe uniting the families but on the other hand it doesn’t seem really the most appropriate name considering some of the past. Personally I was kind of hoping they would name him Graham.
He’s more than Emma’s ex-lover. He’s a town hero. He’s Henry’s father and Rumple’s son. I’m sure Henry appreciated the gesture.

Actually, if you re-watch, Henry doesn’t applaud but stands up and leaves, upset.
Little Prince Neal! Oh I love it! Sounds a little weird but you know a least it’s not Bealfire… Hopefully this baby would get it better in abandon issues then his namesake…
You know what I can't continue with the dead people brought back to life list I'm out of space in the signature and now we have an underworld arc this is to much I quit why do you bring so many people back to life OUAT WHHHYYYY
I didnt like that they chose that name for the baby… I think its just too weird !
Snow and David loved Neal a great deal to name their only son after him. Emma seemed surprised in a bittersweet way. I doubt either Rumple or Henry fully appreciated the gesture. The camera panned to Rumple’s expression, which was one of sadness, not happiness. And Henry upped and left, upset over this new baby being named for the father he never said goodbye to or got to know.
