All I can say is that the promo makes the rest of the season look epic! I wouldn’t be too surprised if Regina actually is tied to an apple tree. That scene may be her worst nightmare come true. I think that the writers may be wrapping up the tale of revenge between Regina and Snow White by the season finale. The tale has sort of run its course, and it’s time for a new focus (e.g. how Emma can get them out of FTL). I think Emma, Mary Margaret, and Prince Charming will all realize they’re family. I do think there will be some big twist and/or cliff-hanger at the very end that will set us up for a new plot development in season 2. Some TV shows tend to introduce a new villain each season. If Cora is still alive but imprisoned, that could give us a new villain for a new season.

This promo has left me speechless too. 😮 It was mind-blowing!

The scene between Regina and Emma is definitely a dream, but the writers could throw a curve ball at us and it ends up actually being real. 😮

Ok, I’m worried about Mr. Gold. Not about his survival, but about his powers. I’m not afraid of him losing them, I’m afraid of them being revealed. I have a feeling that once Rumpel holds or uses the dagger, his powers will return to him. And while that would make me wuite happy, it would also mean that everyone else will find out about them. When Rumpel became the Dark One, his entire physical appearance changed. And if he regains his powers in Storybrooke, the same thing may occurr again. We’ll creepy, impish Rumpel just strolling down the street like nothing’s wrong. 😆

I’d pay money to see that. 😆

I have wondered if Rumpel had to be shiny and glittery in fairytale land. We saw that Zoso, the original dark one, was able to look like a regular man so that he could try and convince Rumpel to burn down the castle, steal the knife, and kill him. So maybe Rumpel can use his magic to look like a regular guy too.

Oh I like this idea 🙂

Rumple thinks/feels he’s a monster & that is why stays shiny- he uses the shock factor to help maintain power over others- it scares them so he uses it to his advantage 😉

I don’t know if someone mention this, but after watching the promo for about a trillion times it looks like Mr. Gold is pushing August towards a tree, not stabbing him. I thought he was stabbing him.

They aren’t going to kill August. He is in the photos for the next one. And i don’t think they would do all this to kill him, at least not before the finale. I think there are a lot of characters they could decide to kill off in the finale.

I agree, hjbau. The writers hopefully know better than to kill off August after he has created so much buzz for the show. (Yet, then again, they killed off Graham, who was a show favorite). I think August though is vital to helping Emma discover how to break the curse. He was created for the very purpose of helping her believe in fairy-tales. I also think he may be a potential love interest for her. They both share a lot in common, and they seem to have a deeper connection than meets the naked eye. Plus, there remains the whole question of his identity and what his connection is to SB. He also seems to have some unresolved business with Mr.Gold/Rumpel. After Rumpel, I think August is the most interesting character by far.

It may just end up being that August comes for him, Mr Gold grabs his arm and wrenches it behind his back to protect himself and disarm August. This is the type of scene where a split second out of it can be very misleading, so we’ll just hafta wait for it to play out in full.
