My money is on Granny’s heart… She is always a bit strange, and it could be an exchange for the cloak (high prize, but your granbaby would be worth that) Regina once admitted taking so many hearts that she did not know whose she had anymore and I bet same goes for Cora (because I think it was a Cora box from the promo)

What if the candle comes back into the picture? Cora stabs Rumple with the dagger, which is supposed to kill him, but Snow uses the candle to kill Cora and save Rumple but now Rumple is magicless.
My second prediction for death is Archie.

I think there are two reasons why that won’t happen
A Snow could care less if Rumpel died. Unless Henry begs her to save grandad, I don’t think she’d risk using black magic.
B Cora does not want his powers to possess her. The Dark One’s magic is a burden. She just wants him as her puppet (right with ya there Cora… though I would probably do different things with him)March 4, 2013 at 2:15 pm #176884RumplesGirlKeymaster@SpinningGold wrote:

I can totally see Snow saving Rumple. He’s family now, and he may be a somewhat wicked man who has made a lot of mistakes and has threatened her family, but he’s still family. Plus, in some ways she owes him. He did cast the protection spell that meant Regina couldn’t kill Snow in FTL.
B. That’s assuming Cora’s been telling the truth this whole time and hasn’t been lying and deceiving Regina. I don’t trust Cora as far as I could throw her."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 4, 2013 at 2:48 pm #176894spinninggoldParticipantYes, but Snow is expolring her dark side… Saving Rumpel is not part of that, he is part of the problem, as far as she’s concerned. The interview at Paleyfest suggested Snow is heading in a dark direction. First I did not get why, but they saw “The Queen Is Dead” before the panel started. So those first questions to Snow wer in directly relation to the episode.
And I do believe Cora thinks it safer to use Rumpel than be taken over by the Dark One. She likes her armies of … zombies. Rumpel would be the same. She is confident she could manage that.March 4, 2013 at 2:54 pm #176895SlurpeezParticipant@Phee wrote:

So is it possible that David is the one who dies since he clearly gets thrown like a rag doll and Snow uses the candle over Cora’s heart to bring him back and that’s why he is getting up when he says “what did you do?”
Yes, this is what I was gonna say! Charming’s “What did you do?” would fit in quite nicely with the convo he and Snow had at Johanna’s grave. Snow was determined not to lose anyone else. She also listed off all the times she made the “right decision” and it led to heartbreak. He kept imploring her to remain good. So I think that Charming will be mortally wounded in the battle in Gold’s shop, and Snow will be, “Screw the right decision to not use dark magic. I’ve still got that candle.” Then she’ll use it to save Charming and kill Cora, and he’ll stand up and see what happened and be all, “What did you do?”
And if that ain’t a lesson in karma for Cora, then I dunno what is. She tricked Snow into taking the item that was ultimately used to kill her. Though I’ve really been hoping it would be Regina who kills Cora, I think that having Snow do it this way would be perfect poetic justice for the old witch.
😮 This is a wonderful theory, which I hope will actually play out. At first, I thought there was no way David would die, because we’ve seen pictures of Josh filming in later episodes of the season. However, I hadn’t even considered that Snow still had the spooky candle. How would she have kept it though during the curse? Maybe Mr. Gold collected it in his shop? Anyway, that would be a really interesting plot twist. It would also help explain Lana Parrilla’s tweet to Jane Espensen about this episode being KILLER.

Thinking the same thing. There’s a reason why they brought BlueCora and the candle into things. Snow is going to take a walk on the dark side and use that candle.

March 4, 2013 at 4:15 pm #176923HappyEndingsSpectatorI don’t think Snow will use the candle
1. Is because she doesn’t have the candle in the 1st place.
2. Also, because she remembers her talk with her mother so the candle is out.I do think she smashes the heart either Cora’s or the Crickets I don’t know.
Remember what Rumble said dead is dead he told Regina that and King George besides Emma has magic and will be using it this episode.
What I don’t understand is why Cora doesn’t just call out Rumble’s name the “Dark One” Like Rumble did with Zozo instead of going to the shop if she really did control the “Dark One” this just doesn’t make sense to me ❓
Another fact do you really think Rumble would tell where the real dagger was knowing how the Charmings are that they would give it up to save someone ❓
March 4, 2013 at 4:23 pm #176925KebParticipantTHEORY! (After watching it again.) If you hold someone’s heart, you can control that person, as we saw with the Huntsman and Aurora.
Cora’s got the dagger, so she can control Rumple when he gets back. But if Snow has Cora’s heart, she can control Cora…
