I think it does look like the storybrooke timeline hatter. I compared pictures and the coat in the promo does seem to be the one we saw him in earlier when he kidnapped Emma and MM. I’m guessing it’s a post Hat trick hatter. He could be in SB cause his house had a stone wall nearby, but the wall doesn’t seem to match the archway in the promo stylistically, so I’m guessing it’s FTL or a third place.
I took a screen shot of the hand grabbing the apple, but I’m not sure if theres a way to post it. I can’t be sure, but I am leaning towards a girls hand, and the sleeve is dressy but simple, like one of Regina’s suits or the hatters coat. It looks like a suit sleeve. I think it’s Regina grabbing the falling apple.
[adrotate group="5"]The camera angles in the shots of both Snow and Henry on the ground are very similar to one another, symbolizing a link or a parallel between the two situations.
I saw a screenshot of the hand and it looks feminine to me. Also, notice Mayor Regina has a jacket on when she’s talking about the apple, although I couldn’t actually tell what color it was to see if it matched. You can also barely make out a metalic type wristwatch peeping out of the coat sleeve. I think it’s Regina.

All I got to say… is RED APPLES MAKE TERRIBLE PIES AND TARTS… if you want a tasty pie or tart use a mottled or green apple they taste better.

Ok after a serious look at that 2nd promo I can definitely see Henry grab the steering wheel and run them off the road at .02. Then at .12 you can see Regina’s cans looking really good in that evil queen outfit. Now the Hatter part at .14 it’s brief but his haircut is that of a post Hat Trick Hatter & he’s wearing the same jacket from said episode when Emma “hits him” on the side of the road but the bigger question where is he? Well if you look close you can see he’s in a tunnel and I think there might be a tree in the background. The tunnel kind of looks like he could be at his mansion but I wouldn’t say with certainty that’s where he is. I’m trying to think if I’ve seen that tunnel but nothing really comes to mind. 😐 At the Henry part .22 He’s talking to Emma while holding what seems to be an apple turnover he says “You may not believe in the curse but I believe in you” he then collapses in Mary Margaret’s house end promo. Based on that I’m thinking Henry does poison himself in an effort to get Emma to revive him and believe in the curse.
It looks like some kind of walkway but I can’t tell if it’s in the real world or fantasyland, too small to be a road, doesn’t match his mansion from Hat Trick, doesn’t look like the queen’s or Rumple’s castle. But really it doesn’t look CGI enough to be in fantasyland… and that color to the sky makes it look like he’s some where in Storybrooke….Maybe well get more clues in the Sneak peeks
The jacket does seem to be dark like the one he wore in Storybrooke, as opposed to the brown one from FTL. If it’s the same jacket, then this must come AFTER he returns to Storybrooke, (assuming he actually left), because he didn’t have that jacket when he fell out the window.
Wherever he is in that scene though, he’s likely at the beginning of a journey through the hat, not the end of one. I know we haven’t seen how one comes back through it, but it looks in that half second shot as though he’s preparing to jump into it.
So does Regina have him in her clutches in Storybrooke somehow, and they also somehow have Emma’s hat (which was in her car the last time we saw it), and Regina commands him to go get a poisoned apple for her from another world?
Guess it would make sense if Jefferson is somehow in contact with Regina if he’s possibly the much loved guest star who has a scene with StorybrookeBelle in the finale.

If Regina is planning to poison Emma & she’s going the poison apple route maybe she’ll need Jefferson to get one for her assuming he can jump through realms?

.Hehe, my apple thoughts through the series have been, “Sure, they’re pretty but I bet they taste horrible.” I’m not a Red Delicious fan. They’re very pretty but lack any type of flavor. Give me a nice yellow or green apple of various varieties and I’m fine. But reds are not my first choice. As for baking a pie or tart, I’d go for a nice Granny Smith and/or Macintosh.
Now I’m hungry. *goes off to have apple butter and toast for breakfast*
