Omg, yes! It’s one of my favorite things to eat. I make a huge batch every fall when the apple harvest comes in. There is no butter in it, just apples cooked in cider (non_alcoholic) until it turns into a thick dark brown preserve. The only things I add are cinnamon and sugar. It’s quite popular in my area and can be bought in the grocery store, but I prefer to make my own.
Getting back on topic, I don’t think Jefferson is working for Regina this time around. But then again, she may be dangling his daughter in front of him.

Apple butter is sort of like jelly just made from apples. I don’t think it is really butter. I don’t know why it is called that.
It is possible that Regina has the hat that she jumped out of when she left Jefferson in Wonderland. I actually don’t think it makes sense that Regina would know about the hat Emma had because that would mean Regina knows a whole lot of things that she didn’t know before like the entire incident with Mary escaping and the hatter kidnapping Emma and Mary. And also she would have to know that Emma has magic to make a hat. At least if Regina just stole the hat. I guess Jefferson could have brought Regina the hat, but why would he do that. It doesn’t seem like they would be on good terms after what happened.
I guess Regina could threaten him. It almost seems like there might be two hats. It seems like Regina has a hat and the apple pops out of it and that Jefferson is jumping into a hat though i am not sure how that works.
