Aw, my fellow Dearies! You people are awesome. Here I was worrying myself into a fit in a corner.
(sigh) It seems like all I do is just whine and complain these days, but with Rumple and Cora possibly being lovers…um, why. Just why did it have to be that.
I myself am not hoping for a twist that Rumple is Regina’s real father. This is all way too complicated for the general audience to grasp, not to mention the family tree would become even more messed up.
Ok, now I think the writers are on a mission to make the audience hate Cora. First they have her abuse Regina, kill her true love, kill Johanna, kill Queen Eva and go after the dagger. And now they’ve paired her off with Rumpel. I swear, my hatred for that woman knows no bounds.
I’m trying to stay optimistic though. Whatever little affair Rumpel and Cora had going on back in the day, it doesn’t compare to the love that he has for Belle. She is his true love, now and forever. End of story. Besides, Rumpel and Cora clearly hate each other now. So, their past affair won’t be interferring with Rumpel’s relationship with Belle anytime soon.
If you look at the photos more closely to me it looks like Rumple is teaching Cora how to dance, and curtsy since she doesn’t have a background on the manners for a Royal she needs some quick lessons but that this is just my opinon 💡
I don’t think Rumple is Regina’s father but I think Rumple was in love with Cora and decided the day of her wedding that he didn’t want her to marry Prince Henry. And I think that’s when she’ll break his poor heart and tell him “why would I want you when I could be a Queen.”

I totally agree with you. Besides, if Rumple has been alive for 300 years, i suppose he was not sitting down waiting for Belle, there were probably other women. Not “true love” but, 300 years of complete loneliness and not feeling anything at all would drive him mad.
There is only one thing I don’t understand -in the plot, in Cora’s train of thought, if the story goes as you expose here- : is really more powerful a random queen, no matter how rich and wide the kingdom, than the mistress of the Dark One?
