I agree that “seductive” doesn’t have to mean sexual, but given that kiss we saw in “In the Name of the Brother” I think we can make a very educated guess that Cora’s and Rumple’s relationship was much more than a platonic one.

If he doesn’t go full on rumpy pumpy ( 😆 😆 😆 😆 ) then it’s because Milah broke his heart all those years ago and it’s going to take someone quite extraordinary to get him to open that far back up again. So, maybe he’s in love with Cora but from a distance. Doesn’t cross that line because it would be too painful. But he does make his feelings known. And then Cora crushes him. 👿

She is going to drop the “love is weakness” line when he confesses his love for her and since he loves her he won’t be able to hurt her himself and will need someone else to do his dirty work.

Or perhaps he is the one who says it? This is Cora’s first shot at love, but Rumple’s been there before and learned the hard way, so it’d fit if he’s dishing out advice about love making you weak. He loved Milah and Bae, and look at how that ended up. For all of his power, deep down inside, he’s weak, even if he can’t admit it to the world and let people see it, even if he tries to ignore it, he totally knows it in his own heart.

I reckon Cora will lead Rumple on, not in an overtly sexual way (this is a family show after all), but in a way where she’s touchy feely with him and smiles at him. Enough to make him think that she may actually have feelings for him. She knew about Bae so I’m thinking Rumple must have opened up to her a little bit.

Then comes the killer moment:
Rumple: But I thought-
Cora: Thought what? That I loved you? Don’t be ridiculous. No one can ever love you.
