I think Bae might have Tinkerbell inside of his cap. Hence, his surprised expression. Plus, the hat seems to be glowing.

I think maybe that’s actually one of Wendy’s brothers, not Bae, and her shocked expression is because it’s the first time Pan ever came for them.

The ship on the window is pretty cool. Didn’t the Jolly Rodger once fly to the Darling’s house? Perhaps it’s a nod to that?

My guy instinct says it’s Bae because we know Hook and Bae have a relationship and if Wendy is on PP’s side and suddenly Bae is taken by Hook…hello drama!

I think many fans are going to read it that way, yes. But in the Disney movie (my goal this summer is to read the book, I swear) Peter Pan defeats Hook and takes the JR which is how the Darlings return to London. I’m not suggesting H and K are going to do that exactly, but I don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility that PP’s shadow has stolen Hook’s ship. We know that the shadow is not going to be the cute shadow we typically think of. And if Bae is resentful of being taken to a land with magic again, where his father might find him, it could explain how he ended up becoming friendly with Hook: If he sides with Hook instead of Pan. I’m starting to really believe that Bae was a member of Hook’s crew for a greater length of time than he was a Lost Boy and I think that decision to become a member of the crew is going to have something to do with how Pan is going to be depicted.

I was thinking it could be one of the Darling boys because whoever it is appears to be wearing pjs with a dressing gown over the top, (it’s dark and blurry and hard to tell for sure though). And that’s not how Bae is dressed when he’s on the ship.

True but the other pics do show Bae at the window in the same PJs as are under the dressing gown. Why would Wendy be worried if her brother was taken? She’s been there before, right? Which I would think means so have the other Darlings. I thought she would be much more concerned about Bae being taken away since he clearly didn’t want to go with her in the first place.
As to how Bae is dressed on Hook’s ship: I have no answer. But it doesn’t mean that the image of Bae on the ship is the same night he’s taken by the ship. (????)

Don’t know about the glowing, but he is holding his cap in a very strange manner. And in the Disney movie, PP often captures Tink in his hat and then holds it like that. So, you could be right. And if Tink is all CGI like Pan’s shadow and without any lines, they wouldn’t need to credit anyone with portraying Tink.

It looks to me like the jacket and pants he’s wearing on the ship is the same stuff he’s wearing when he arrives at the Darling’s place, it’s just been cleaned and repaired. Of course, we don’t know how many times Bae will make that trip, but if it’s only once, and that is the same jacket & pants, then he has to have been wearing them when he flew out the window. And the figure flying out the window is clearly wearing white pants, even if the rest of it is too dark to make out.

So this is how you see the past portion of the episode working:
1) Bae arrives at the Darlings, breaks in, steals bread, meets Wendy
2) Maybe that first night, Wendy tells the story of PP and then lo and behold PP’s shadow arrives and steals one of the Darling children. Hence Wendy’s wide eyed surprise. But she goes too? And Bae stays behind?
3) Wendy and the other Darlings come home the next day. PP returns that night to take them back and Wendy tries to get Bae to come along because NL is so great/wonderful?
4) Bae stays behind again? (in the promo, Wendy is flying out the window alone after she tried to persuade Bae to go with her)

Then how does Bae end up in NL? *arg*
