Well, I was thinking that perhaps this is showing the very first time Pan ever came to their window. If that’s the first time Wendy is seeing one of her brothers fly out their window, clutching the hand of a creepy shadow, I imagine she’d be pretty wide eyed.
So this is how you see the past portion of the episode working:
1) Bae arrives at the Darlings, breaks in, steals bread, meets Wendy
2) Maybe that first night, Wendy tells the story of PP and then lo and behold PP’s shadow arrives and steals one of the Darling children. Hence Wendy’s wide eyed surprise. But she goes too? And Bae stays behind?
3) Wendy and the other Darlings come home the next day. PP returns that night to take them back and Wendy tries to get Bae to come along because NL is so great/wonderful?
4) Bae stays behind again? (in the promo, Wendy is flying out the window alone after she tried to persuade Bae to go with her)Then how does Bae end up in NL? *arg*
I still think the person going through the window is Baelfire, but he is forced to go to NL against his will by Peter’s shadow. I think he could have changed into the pants and jacket overtop of PJs once he became an established member of Hook’s crew (assuming he does).

ParticipantNot sure how I think the back and forth and the flashbacks will be constructed yet, all I know is that the clothing matching and not matching is making me suspicious.

So do you think the fact that the shadow is using what appears to be the JR means Hook is Pan? And what does that mean about Hook’s character as a whole if his shadow is the uber creepy children snatcher?
*EDIT*
Just went back and read through the original postings of the photo again. Are we sure it’s the JR? How did Hook get it to be all…ghosty? What if each person, Pan and Hook, have boats? Am I over thinking this?

I think the ship is something on or above the window, not the actual ship. If you watch the promo, the image of the ship doesn’t appear to move IMO, but you can see the shadow moving behind it on the outside of the window.

I think there are a couple of possibilities here:
1) Peter Pan’s shadow belongs to Peter Pan, who eventually commandeered the JR (I learned that nautical term from Pirates of the Caribbean, hehe).
2) Peter Pan’s shadow is a captive of the Captain himself. Hook is the one who is kidnapping Baelfire, because Hook somehow gained knowledge Bae was guest of the Darling family. Knowing Bae would prove to have invaluable information about Rumple, Hook snatched him up and made Bae a member of his crew.
ETA: 3) Killian Jones is Peter Pan. Total wild card."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

If Phee is right that the Darling family goes to NL without Bae first and then Bae goes later in the episode, Wendy could have told Peter/Hook/shadow/some other incarnation about her new house guest who goes by the bizarre name of Bae, a name Hook KNOWS. Rumple mentions him in The Crocodile before killing Milah and Hook saw a younger Bae in the tavern. Thus he sends Pan’s shadow to kidnap Bae because of his connection to Rumple. So where is the real Pan?

That is the question everyone is bursting at the seems to know the answer to. Again, possibilities:
1)Total wild card: Killian Jones is Peter Pan!
2) The real Peter Pan is hanging out in NL chilling with the Lost Boys.
3) Whoever captures the shadow becomes the next Pan. Eventually Bae captures it and become the Peter Pan of mythology."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

So there is not an actual Peter Pan, but rather a powerful fairy/shadow creature called the Pan who has magical powers. Whoever captures the shadow can use it for their own devices, controlling the shadow. Know what this sounds like? The dagger. Whoever has the dagger can use control the Dark One; whoever has the shadow controls it. If Bae eventually captures the shadow and controls it, at some point the implications that he has become like his father would hit. And maybe that is what caused him to leave NL and return to our world.

Watson, I think you’ve got it! I like it! That could be the twist that Adam and Eddy have said no one cracked yet. (But I’m perhaps patting ourselves on the back for no real reason, since it could just be pure conjecture). 😆

HAHA! It would be awesome if we were right, though.
