Know what this sounds like? The dagger. Whoever has the dagger can use control the Dark One; whoever has the shadow controls it. If Bae eventually captures the shadow and controls it, at some point the implications that he has become like his father would hit. And maybe that is what caused him to leave NL and return to our world.
This would rock!

KeymasterI like this theory. I’m sticking with it and sticking with the “Dorothy/Darling Home Office” scenario.

#3 seems to be something we’ve mentioned in other places, the idea that “Pan” is a title passed down. So there is not an actual Peter Pan, but rather a powerful fairy/shadow creature called the Pan who has magical powers. Whoever captures the shadow can use it for their own devices, controlling the shadow. Know what this sounds like? The dagger. Whoever has the dagger can use control the Dark One; whoever has the shadow controls it. If Bae eventually captures the shadow and controls it, at some point the implications that he has become like his father would hit. 😯 😯 😯
That is brilliant. Way to go RG!
I have a 10 hour car ride to stew over everything! AhhKeeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

SpectatorDo you think Tamara could be related to Tiger Lily remember she carries that photo of her Grandmother around and maybe her Grandmother was killed and therefore she is killing everyone who has magic ❓

I personally don’t believe so because if they were going to cast someone who was at least part Native American, I would hope they had the good sense to hire an actual Native American.

ParticipantThings found in the Darling nursery.

1. A hot air balloon…possible reference to the Wizard of Oz?
2. A camel. Possible reference to Aladin?
3. People dressed as playing cards. Reference to Wonderland? …
4. A blue farm house. Another possible reference to Oz?
5. Now what could that be in the bottom right hand corner of this photo? Why yes! It IS a pirate ship!

KeymasterMajor thanks. I was wondering if someone had done this.
1) Hot air balloon makes me happy. Tiny Oz references have been popping up in various places this season. Some subtle, some not so.
2) The people dressed as playing cards: remember Neal’s apartment? He had all those cards around the wall. Totally makes me believe that he knew Jefferson at some point. Jefferson/August/Neal. There is a story there.
