Except on the last episode we see the Charming Family and Regina on the boot with Hook. She must double crosses him some other way.

I thought the same thing at first. But it’s possible that it’s a cave in SB. In some of the promos for these upcoming episodes, Hook seems to be in some sort of underground cave (or the mines?) when he's listening to GOAT

I agree there is something else going on here. That much CGI, especially for what looks like some sort of outdoor set, is suspect. Good catch!

Sure looks like Cora’s spellbook in Regina’s hand. Could she possibly have copied the empty heart spell into it? She’s casting something on Henry. Since the sfx only appears in front of his face it might be a spell that alters his mind.
