The way Henry is looking back at Emma as he’s holding that shovel of dirt. He doesn’t even know why he’s having to shovel dirt on the grave of a complete stranger. It’s just wrong.

Wait, Emma told Henry (kind of) the truth- that they had come to storybrooke because his father/Neal was in trouble, but it was to late & he died, but she needed Henry to know he was a good man/hero.

So Henry does who he’s there for, even if he doesnt have his memories of him back yet.

Many kids go to funerals where they dont remember or actually know the family member who has passed away. The only thing that makes it especially sad in Henry’s case, is the fact that he really actually does know his father, but cant remember knowing him, so didnt get the chance to say goodbye 🙁

Henry’s at the funeral because it is his father who died. I do think Neal’s funeral should just be the people who know him and who he actually interacted with rather than random extras placed there to fill out numbers.

When Henry gets his memory back, Neal’s death is going to hit him like a ton of bricks. In some ways, it would be kinder to Henry to not remember.

So I don’t see this one anywhere else in the thread and I just found it and um…

I don’t always check out the promo stills, but have they ever released something like that that so clearly centered on extras? Seems kind of odd to me that the only character in the shot is Blue and she’s off to the side.

Wow, this is very painful. The extras do seem a little out of place here. I kinda can’t stand it that Henry doesn’t remember. Honestly that argument about, well he was so happy in New York, really irked me from the start. This is Henry we’re talking about. The kid who tried for an entire season to get people to remember and believe. Do we really think Henry would say: oh no I’d rather keep my fake memories, over having my real ones in which I know my dad and love my two mothers dearly. Yes some crappy stuff happened to him, but hey the kid’s not made of glass, he’s handled it better than most kids his age would have. I know it’s for plot purposes and suspense and all that, but still.

I won’t even get started on Rumpelstiltskin not being there. 🙁
