The curse may have caused the different lands to meld together though. That’s why we saw Mulan, for example, along with Prince Phillip and Aurora. They’re from different lands. Wonderland could have become destroyed, and the only remanent is a combo of all the different lands fused together. The reason Cora is a prisoner in this remanent is because she is the QoH and a threat.
That’s my thought too, Regina had to have sent her to Wonderland with that mirror that’s the logical connection. At the end Mulan said that they’re survivors that could mean survivors from a variety of different lands.

Also, I’m thinking that Rumpel must know Jefferson, and that’s how Rumpel acquired the “looking glass” mirror portal to Wonderland. It’s the same mirror we saw in Jefferson’s hat portal in 1×17.

Yeah… and if that’s true, someone is going to have to return that mirror to the hat because the events in 1×17 take place way after these flashbacks.
I invested a great deal into the QOH being related to Regina and her mother. I was hoping the writers would give it more of a spin, and make the QOH a family member (I was going for an unknown sister – that Regina is not the first born). However, “We are Both” suggestively leads one to believe Cora is the QOH. Either the writers are making it blatantly obvious, or they are going to through us for a loop. I will have to be patient and wait it out on this one. (patience is not one of my virtues, however)
If I put my sister theory aside, then I will have to agree with everyone else.
Don’t you just love Wonderland? The story has always been one of my favorites (with the exception of the Disney Cartoon.) I love how OUAT is portraying it and the actors / actresses they are using for the characters. (I do believe I have a wee crush on Jefferson) Can’t wait to see more.
I was thinking Cora was “Alice” and then became the Queen of Hearts. (If someone hasn’t mentioned that), Would that explain how she’s in FTL?
According to BabyNames.com, the name “Cora” means “heart”.
I still think Cora if the QoH, like most people. I always thought something happened to her face, though, hence why she kept herself covered in Hat Trick. I was a little surprised to see she was perfectly intact. I guess I was thinking Regina had done something to her.

Maybe she didn’t want people from EF to know that she, CORA, was in fact the queen of hearts so she kept herself hidden? Or didn’t want Regina to recognize her.
I can’t wait to have Cora’s backstory/queens of hearth’s backstory. Mostly, however, I wanna see more of her Page (Paul Mcgillion) he is a wonderfull actor who deserves more screentime.

Yep, that’s one of the reasons I’ve always thought she’d end up being QoH, (and I’d always figured Regina was the one who banished her to Wonderland too, though I’d figured there would have been more specific intent behind it, not just following Rumple’s orders). If the stuff we saw in “We Are Both” was meant to be misdirection, it’s one HELL of a misdirection. 😆
As for how she ended up back in FTL, I’m wondering if it has something to do with how Jefferson ended up there too. Maybe QoH got wind of the fact that the Mad Hatter had finally figured out a way to get back, and she wanted some sweet revenge on her daughter, so she found a way to go with him. Once they were back in FTL, they went their separate ways, and then he ended up getting transported to SB while she didn’t.
